Season 2: Chapter 4

Mikey stood to the side as everyone enjoyed the pool party. Mikey sat back and enjoyed the drinks while his gang lived it up with swimming, drinking and dancing. Even Draken had finally wondered off to take a dip in the pool. Mikey was spending most of his time watching Y/N. She hadn't noticed him but her body guards definitely had, they returned his glances with glares. He didn't care though. He was more concerned at the moment that Hanma was making his way over to Y/N. Mikey could feel his blood starting to boil as hanma inched closer to her. He watched as Hanma approached her and whispered something in her ear. She began shaking her head and he could see the word No form on her lip and irritation spreading across her face. He grabbed her arm and she quickly pulled it away given him a stern look. Mikey stood up, feeling his anger growing, watching him touch her angered him more than anything possible. Within seconds Hanma had bent down and scooped her up in his arms walking her toward the pool. He could hear her over the music ordering him to put her down. Mikey began almost sprinting in their direction. His feet moving almost on their own. Before he could get to her Kaede had snatched her out of Hanma's arms while Kenji was inches from his face yelling at him. Hanma just slowly backed up with a huge grin plastered on his face. He was enjoying every bit of it. Finding amusement in stirring up trouble.

Mikey could see that she was startled as Kaede began walking her back toward the house. At this point Mikey was full on running in her direction. He just needed to know she was alright. "Are you okay?" Mikey panted as he finally reached her and Kaede at the back door entrance of the home, his adrenaline at peak. He could see that she was shaken up from the panicked look on her face. "Yeah I'm good. Don't worry about it just go have fun. Don't worry about me." She said, brushing her hair back with her hands. "You sure?" He asked. He may have been overstepping his boundaries but at this moment he didn't care. "Yes, he just got me by surprise. I just need a minute.Please, just go back." She said as Kaede began leading her in the house, probably to get away form not only the party but Mikey as well at this point. Mikey knew something was up to startle her like that, but out of respect he backed off.

11 pm

Y/N POV

You had spent about an hour in the house trying to get yourself together after the whole situation as well as avoid Mikey. Asking you to hook up in the bathroom during your party was already irritating enough but then trying to put you in the pool was infuriating. That was definitely ballsy on his behalf, had to be because Mikey was there. Maybe getting rid of him like Kenji had kept suggesting wouldn't be such a bad idea after all. He was turning out to be more trouble than he was worth here recently. Not to mention he was getting waaaay to comfortable, which was partially your fault and you knew it. Before long you decided to venture back outside and rejoin your guests to enjoy some good conversation and dancing. You could see that Mikey was staring holes into you from across the pool all night. You couldn't lie that you kind of enjoyed it. You could tell it was stressing him out the more he stared so you let him. "You know Mikey has been eyeballing you?" Kaede said, stating the obvious. "Of course" You replied. "Want me to do something about it." Kenji added, tensing his fists up. Still clearly on go mode from the Hanma situation from earlier. "No you brute, calm down. He's not bothering me." You told him. "Just so you know I could of killed Hanma earlier. I was this close." Kenji said as he held his index and thumb together to show the minimal amount of tolerance he felt for Hanma. Hanma was currently smoozing with some of the guests in the corner, laughing and smiling like nothing had happened. "I wish you would have." Kaede said, joining him. "Can we stop talking about both of them please." You groaned, rubbing your forehead. These boys were going to be the death of you.

"Sorry Y/N." Kaede apologized. He know all they were doing was stressing you out. "You're fine, but I do think its time to wrap this party up. Would you mind rounding people up and getting them out of here." You said, ready to do nothing more than lay down in your bed and get some sleep. "Could you please offer the Toman members rooms for tonight. Some of them seem to be a little intoxicated." You said, noticing Baji, smiley and angry were hevaley intoxicated, slumped over in your patio chairs. "Really? But they have a driver?" Kenji groaned. "Yes I know that but what if something happens to them when they get dropped off and being so drunk they do something stupid? I'd rather our new partners be safe." You explained to Kenji who was not liking the idea at all. He reluctantly agreed as he walked over to Mikey to let him know the offer. "Please don't tell me this is because of Mikey?" Kaede asked. "Lord no. I honestly just want them to be safe. No matter what has transpired between me and Mikey I do care about their safety." Y/n answered, watching as Kenji approached Mikey.

Shortly after he returned, looking rather irritated. "They accepted." Kenji rolled his eyes. "You are such a child Kenji." You laughed, he was such a big baby when it came to certain situations. "I am not." He pouted, proving your point. "Kaede could you please let Ms. Kimura know to make sure the extra guests rooms are good to go and make sure there are extra towels in the bathrooms as well for them." You said, watching as Mikey, Draken, Mitsuya and Chifuyu rounded up their dunk buddies. Having them spending the night in your home was weird but it would be fine, you were sure of it.
