(Y/N) was shaken awake early in the morning the next day. She thinks the only times she wakes up at that time is whenever she gets nightmares.

This time, the reason was because Zoe and Mira are still insisting to do her makeup.

It'll be fun, they said.

It'll be worth it, they said.

So in the end, (Y/N) was forced to wash her face half-asleep. She sat on the chair in Zoe's room that was situated just in front of the mirror and her table of makeup supplies.

The two seemed to be excited with their plans. Even Mira looks hyped. She browses through the options on her phone for theme they'd be using.

It probably took around an hour and a half when they were done with what they were doing.

Zoe and Mira looks pretty proud of themselves as well.

They high-fived each other and allowed the (h/c) haired girl to look at their work.

Well, she'd admit the did a rather good job.

While she can only feel the slightly uncomfortable feeling of makeup on her face, she actually looks different. Pretty? She wouldn't boldly say that, but it's not...bad...

Her skin looks smoother and healthier. They did some of their magic with their hands to enhance her features and sharpen a few spots to make her look so much better.

But since this story isn't about makeup, she'd skip most of the descriptions about that.

"See, I was right!" Zoe cheers. "She really does look prettier! Good looks run in the family."

Haha. The body Daniel uses at school wasn't his original one, though?

"Let's take a picture!" Mira says with her camera already open. She tugs along Zoe while leaning closer to (Y/N) to snap a picture.

"Why?" (Y/N) asks as soon as they withdrew.

"Well, it's a remembrance of our first sleepover."

"Oh, does that mean next time will be on Mira's house? Or (Y/N)'s?"

"Not mine," the latter immediately says defensively.

"Aw, why not? Come on, it will be nice!"

"...It's going to be awkward."

The other two pauses. They just remembered she lives with her brother and a 'friend'.

Zoe will probably malfunction sleeping in the same roof as the two boys.

"There's also the likely scenario that Zack will find out, since he's usually with Mira," (Y/N) tries to keep reasoning out. "He might forcibly tag along because Daniel's in the house."

There, too many people may join their sleepover. And that surely won't sound very fun for them because it could ruin their hangout.

Zoe's mother insisted that (Y/N) wears her daughter's uniform to school today. Apparently, the woman graciously took her clothes and added it to her laundry.

Mira, because she has enough foresight and time to prepare, actually bought an extra uniform with her.

So the (h/c) haired girl was forced to go to school wearing not only makeup, but also Zoe's uniform. It wasn't really uncomfortable, per se. But the skirt is a tad...too short.

On the way to school, she can already see the effects of the makeup.

She's got as much attention as her first day to school. The other two next to her seem quite smug as their friend was getting the "attention she deserves", as they phrased it.
