Road to Heroes || MHA OCs

The warehouse was almost completely empty aside from Hearts.

The Cards Villain was laying on the ground, his hands behind his back due to the handcuffs. His face was still beat up along with the rest of his appearance, though any bleeding had already stopped. Nobody was around to help him and he just stared out with a dead look.

"Hearts!" The door suddenly opened and Vex showed herself, a bag in her hand. "Hearts!"

She ran over to him with the bag, setting it down and dumping out the contents. There were multiple bottles of medicine that were stolen.

"Are you alright, Hearts?"

Something in his eyes returned seeing her and Hearts slowly nodded his head. "I promise I'm just fine."

"I'm really sorry, Hearts, but Vapor told us not to let you go...he still wants to talk to you, I guess..."

"I don't mind that. I'll be just fine..."

He suddenly paused and began to roughly cough. There was nothing she could do while watching him. His coughing fit continued until he finally coughed up blood.

"You're getting worse." Vex got her metal cube and made it into a knife, stabbing into all of the medicine bottles. "Don't worry! I got all of this medicine for you."

Hearts stared at the medicine she pushed forward but used his nose to push it back. "I don't think any of the medicine will work."

"What do you mean? All of it's gotten you this far, so you should..."

The silence from him was all the answer she needed.

"..." She moved the medicine back towards her. "Do you think you'll be better by then...?"

"I'm not too sure." Hearts managed to shrug and kept a nonchalant look. "But when the time comes, I already have a plan for myself."

"Yeah, but I..." She trailed off and just gripped the knife. "...Do what you want then."

"Do what he wants?" The door suddenly slammed open. "I think he had his fun."

Quickly getting to her feet, a hand went on her hip and she smirked to hide anger. "Hey there, Vapor, you were gone for a bit. Were you off playing hopscotch?"

"Does it look like I was playing games? I left for a reason."

"Yeah, of course he wasn't playing games." Delux showed herself and slightly moved her mask to the side. "He was having a temper tantrum. He's a bit mad at Hearts."

"You're not helping."

"It's the truth. You're mad at Hearts for having failed."

"I'd be mad at him, too." Oni walked over to him, looking down on him. "He made his mark in Fukuoka."

"If I can make a mark in Fukuoka, I can make a mark in your face, too." Hearts spat at her only to get her foot rubbed into his face. "I'm so sorry. Are you a little angry?"

"I'd watch your words." Terra's chuckling could be heard as he stepped closer. "You don't want to make her anymore pissed."

"Let him." Oni rubbed her foot into his face. "I wouldn't mind having a good reason to kill him."

"That's unfair! I want to be the one to kill Hearts since he's important!"

"Then I'll kill both of you."

"Stop it! Nobody is killing Jin...Hearts!" Vex made her knife into her axe, causing the two to back up. "He doesn't deserve to be killed."

"I don't know what you're seeing but he deserves to die."
