After yawning with his entire mouth, Kyodai was soon on his back. His eyes were slowly cracking open but he didn't want to wake up yet.

The sun could be felt by him. It shone through his window and became annoying the more it was in his face. He even grabbed his pillow and put it over his head to try blocking it. That somewhat helped but either way, he knew that he would have to wake up. Even after his trip to the I-Expo, he still had to go to school.

He wiped at his mouth, feeling the drool on the back of his hand. With his eyes even more open, he could see his broken nails. They would grow back, he knew that much, but they still looked bad. His nails had broken when fighting the robots during the I-Expo and thinking back to that fight frustrated him.

'Hm...should I tell them about the I-Expo?' He asked himself to see how he would answer. '...They might not believe me. They never want to-'

His thoughts were cut short when his alarm went off. With his large ears, the ringing was loud and annoying to him. He moved around his hand several times on his nightstand, trying to turn it off without looking. The sound of it made him more mad and soon, he managed to hit his alarm clock and knock it to the ground. The ringing stopped instantly after.

Crawling over to the side of his bed, he peeked over. His alarm clock broke. A sweatdrop ran down the side of his head. He didn't mean to break it but it did stop the ringing.

"Hey." The door opened and a woman stood there. "Kyodai, what was that noise?"

"Fuji, uh..." Kyodai picked up the broken clock and held it up. "I accidently broke my alarm clock...and it broke off my nails."

"So it was nothing I should care about. Get ready for school."

He tightened his grip on the clock, only breaking it more. "...Would you care more if I told you I had to fight at the I-Expo?"

"...Get ready for school." After that, she slammed the door behind her.

'What a crappy mom Fuji is supposed to be.' He rolled his eyes and forced himself out of bed.

He scratched his head and began getting dressed, finding his pants on the floor. He got into those and then grabbed his white button up. Though he put it on, he didn't button it up yet and just grabbed his blazer and tie after. He then went downstairs after forgetting his bag.

Sitting at the table, he could see Fuji again. "There he is."

"Hey there, Fuji." Kyodai disregarded her and passed by his dad, putting his blazer and tie on the back of his chair. "Hey, Kou."

"Button up your shirt." Kou instantly said while taking a drink out of his coffee.

"I'll do that when I want to." He looked in the fridge for a second to see nothing he liked. "You guys always buy crap I can't eat."

"For a reason."

"Don't you have a trip to go on?" Fuji said since an argument was bound to happen.

Kyodai's ears lowered and he rolled his eyes. "You're slower than I thought. I already went to the I-Expo, remember?"

"Don't call Fuji that." Kou quickly snapped at him before answering, "She means your camp trip."

"Camp trip..." He thought about what she said and then he remembered.

The day of their final exams came back to him. He remembered how he got paired with Tanchu and the two managed to pass it. Their teacher had also given them the threat of having to stay home for summer school then go to camp with the others. Maybe that made him try more.
