I let out a sigh as I wake up, my hands immediately going to my face to rub my eyes. My head picks up from Newt's shoulder as I look around me, noticing the brightness in the sky. "Are we there yet?"

"Not quite," a british voice says from beside me. I turn to him as he looks at me with a smile. He kisses my forehead and whispers, "Good morning, Clem."

I smile at the boy, "Good morning."

"Hey, you two keep it PG back there," Fry says jokingly as he looks at us through the rear view mirror.

"Don't worry," I tell the boy. "I wouldn't want an audience anyways."

All three boys roll their eyes at my comment as I let out a small laugh. I check my watch, and realize it was 10am. Sighing, I turn my gaze to my window as I watch the view. "What do you think they're doing to Minho right now?"

"Probably running a bunch of experiments or something... testing his blood and stuff," Thomas answers.

"Probably... I just hope it's not as bad as it was at that place Janson was managing." Visualizations my mind came up with when Thomas told us about the kids hanging from the ceilings enter my mind. It sends a shiver down my spine.

"Well all that matters now is that we're going to take him away from all that," Newt states, trying to get our minds off the sensitive topic.

About an hour or so passes. It's silent the whole time--other than tiny conversations here and there. I start get bored of just sitting there looking out the window. The blanket is folded and sits on Newt's lap, so I lay my head on it and look up at the boy, kicking my feet up onto the seat and bending my knees so my body could fit.

He looks down at me with a smile, meeting my eyes, as I do so. "Hi."

"Hi," I repeat. "I'm so bored."

"There's not much we can do, Clementine," Thomas tells me. "We're in a metal box on wheels."

"Well your guys' silence isn't helping," I huff.

Newt strokes his hand through my hair, "Well what do you want to do then?"

"I don't know. Talk about something. This silence is killing me and it's just making my mind go crazy thinking about everything."

"Well, I think this'll get your mind off of that and kill your boredom," Fry mumbles.

I sit up and lay my hand on the top of Thomas's seat as I lean forward, Newt following suit. The two of us squish together in the middle to get a sight at what's ahead of us.

"That looks promising," I mumble, as I take in the view. A dark tunnel sits in front of us as Fry parks the car. We all pile out, walking towards it to get a better view.

"You want us to go in there," Newt asks Thomas as we stand, staring into the dark abyss. The brunette walks over to us, his eyes remaining on the map in his hands as Newt continues. "I don't want to come across as too negative, but if I was a Crank that's exactly where I would want to be."

"There's got to be hundreds of them in there," I add. "I mean, how long does this tunnel even go?"

Thomas looks up at the tunnel, "I don't think we have much of a choice."

Newt sighs beside me before heading back to the car, "Alright, but I got shotgun."

I roll my eyes as I make my way to the trunk and pull our bags out, tossing them into the back with me before I hop in myself. Sitting behind Newt, I start braiding my hair as Thomas hops into the car beside me. Fry takes his seat at the steering wheel and starts driving into the tunnel. He turns on the headlights as Newt holds a large flashlight out his window, shining it at things in our path.
