You plague me
Like a wound
That never seems to heal

Or Lord of the Rings

When I open my Pinterest
And see the rings
I used to look at
With you

I think of you
As our friends plan
Their weddings
I thought we would be planning
Ours too

I think of you
As my roommates
Tell me
I'll need to find
New roommates
Next semester
I always thought
We'd be engaged first,
Not them

I think of you
When I think of honors
It sucks that
You're what honors became
To me

I think of you
With the Fall
The Fall is the perfect
Season to be
A couple
Do you remember
Halloween together
And pumpkins with my family ?
Hard to believe that was only
A year ago

I fell in love
And lost love
In a year
It's crazy how life changes
So rapidly

It's true what they say,
Blink and you'll miss it
I blinked
And now I just
