A Shift of Events (StoryShift! Chara x Male! Reader)

"Come back here L/N !" I heard a loud voice deep in the forest, telling be to come back. But I won't, not anymore, they won't let me do that again. 

I ran away from them at the start of the afternoon, and not it's practically night time. Those guys don't know when to stop, they've always been like that. Forcing people to their bindings, and if you can't or don't want to follow their rules, you won't be found unless someone dig in a random location.

I saw the huge mountain near the town, so I decided to run towards it, and now I'm basically at the top of it, I fucked myself since I can't see a way out. I looked around me to see if something might help me to hide or something else. Then, I saw a cave entrance, it might help me hide since it was really dark, so I decided to go in there and just wait for results. 

"Fuck ! Where is that little fucker now ?!" One dude yelled, while the others were panting or grunting. "There's somethin' here." An other man said. "That's too fucking dark." Another dude said. "That's why we have flashlights." Fucking hell, I forgot about that. One second later, the whole cave was illuminated. And their flashlights were targeting my own body. "There you are ! Come back now and we won't tell Boss about your little escapade." The 'leader' said. I just laughed. 

"To make me do all that dirty work again ? No thank you, I'd prefer to die honestly." I said, I already saw that hole at the ground, I didn't see anything down there, so it must be really deep. "Come on, it's all fun ! Come back now." The 'leader' said, putting his revolver out, loading it and aiming at me. "So now you want to shot me ? If you shoot me, my body will fall in that hole, and I think the Boss wants me alive." I said, smirking, the 'leader' realized his position, and started to panic. "There's no way you'll jump down. You'll die after all." He said, unloading his gun and putting it back in its holster. "You think so ?" I said, taking a back step towards the hole, I felt the void beneath my heel, one more step and I'll join Genghis Khan. "You don't want this." He said, I saw him sweeting bullets. "Sorry dude, you'll tell Boss than you left me no other choices after all." I said, taking one final step backwards, falling into the groundless void.

Heh, they say that before you die, your life will flash before your eyes. That's just one more bullshit invented by humans.

I opened my eyes, the light was blinding me so I put my hand to cover my eyes. Wait, lightning ? 

I removed my hand to see the other hand of the hole I stepped in. I'm not dead ? Just by thinking that, I felt a sharp pain at my head and my left leg. I'm not dead but I'll surely die of blood loss. Yay.

I looked around to see if there's anything worth looking for. I found out that I was lying on flowers. Caltha Palustris if I remember correctly. The only flower I know and I'd fell on them, funny. I stood up to have a better field of view, forgetting my leg of course, so when the pain made me remember, I let out a curse out loud. And it echoed slightly. I looked more accurately around to see that there's a corridor. "Fucking hell." I said out loud as I walked towards the corridor.

At the end of the corridor was a huge gateway, I walked past it and find another patch of flowers there, but at the center was a bigger flower with a ... hat ? I didn't care even if it was weird since I walked near it. 

"Hello there." A voice said. It surprised me so I looked around. "Down here you dumb fuck." It said to me. I looked down at my feet and that previous flower had a face ... and it was talking. "I'm fucking hallucinating." I said, walking past the seemingly talking flower. At the end of the room was a door, so I decided to walk towards it. "Hey ! Come back here ! You aren't supposed to flee !" It said with a stressed? voice. "Don't care." I only said as I reached the end of the room.

I was meet with a huge purple room with all kinds of flowers, the aromas were merging together but it wasn't overwhelming, it was even relaxing. Sweet and rich. My visions started to be suddenly blurry. "Fuck." I said out loud. I started to walk again as I saw something moving further in the room. It was huge, wearing some purple robe and had a white head. The person was watering flowers, again with those hallucinations ?

I walked once again, well I would've if my legs didn't give up on me. So instead I just fell down on the floor, face first, making a loud sound. "Fuck !" I yelled as I was on the ground. "Is there anyone here ?" I heard a loud yet shrill voice yell. "O-Over here." I said, I was on the verge of passing out. Footsteps were coming closer as I closed my left eye. "Oh dear, a human !" The person said, I could only saw briefly the person who was there, and the last thing I saw was a human skull talking to me.

Wait... A human skull ?!
