A Shift of Events (StoryShift! Chara x Male! Reader)

I busted down the grey door of the room I was in. And then I was met by the same corridor as Papyrus's home. Which saddened me a little, knowing that Shifty killed him too. I guessed it was the same layout as his house, so I took the stairs leading somewhere else, hopefully that Golden Corridor.

I ran, ran and ran until the same clashing of metal came into my ear, I silently praised myself as I took the good way and guess. But I was stopped by something grabbing my ankle. I looked down to see a vine. I followed it and I found that the vine was ... that flower's.

"Stop here you dumb fuck." He said, I looked at him with anger. "Release me now, Boogie." I said, anger was beginning to build up to a great amount. "Why ? I've got no advantage to let you go, let Shifty kill that red-eyed bitch, I need to meet with someone important." He said. I've already had enough so I used my magic to create a dagger and I swiftly cut down the vine. "What the hell ? You aren't suppo-" He started to talk, but I stopped him by his stem and plugged him out of the ground. "Listen here, I don't have time to play with you. If I see you trying to stall time for him once again, I'll fucking slice you down, understood ?" I said, surrounding his flowery face with my dagger, he seemed surprised and afraid of the sudden change. "Y-Yes, please release me." He pleaded in a weak voice, I threw him out of the way against a wall and I started to run again.

After I ran for what seemed an eternity, I finally arrived at the door of that Corridor. Good news, I still heard the clashing sound, bad news, I heard heavy panting. I turned to my left to see that Chara was launching red knifes with great power and accuracy, but Shifty already knew that she would do that attack, so he managed to dodge the entirety of the knifes. I heard Chara talk but I couldn't decipher any of her words. But it didn't matter, I needed to act. Then, when I heard Chara's snoring, I knew that her demise would be soon, so I rushed towards them. When I was running, I created two daggers, and then I saw Shifty attacking Chara, but she managed to dodge. I saw Shifty going for a double strike.

"Not on my watch anymore." I said, which stopped Shifty's second strike. His moment of surprise gave me a great opportunity, so I launched a dagger with great power, he didn't seem to see as the dagger was rapidly found at his shoulder joint. I ran once again to him and when I was close enough, I decided to kick him at his face, making him fly back.

"Y-Y/N ?!" Chara said, out of breath and surprised. I looked at Chara and saw that she wasn't going well. "Link." I said, soon enough, a red thread with a purple aura was created, linking Chara's soul and mine. It drained my energy a little to give it to Chara. "What is that ?" She asked, but then I heard that Shifty was going up again. I severed the link, and stood ready. I didn't gave enough energy to Chara to have her on the battle once again. And she knew it, but she didn't move one bit. "Rest, go away, for once, do what I did before, and just look." I said, angry. She seemed to be stunned, so Shifty grinned and rushed at Chara with greater speed.

"I said, not on my watch." I said as I stopped him by kicking his stomach, which made him spit. Then I punched his nose, feeling that I broke it, I smiled a little as I pushed him back. "What are you doing ?! You aren't supposed to act !" Shifty said, his voice was robotic, but I didn't care in the slightest. "I just want to kill you." I said, getting angrier by the second. "Y/N, please don't..." I heard Chara's weak voice as she grabbed my sleeve. I gently jerked my arm off and looked at her. "I'll do it, I'll kill him." I said, he was rushing at me and I knew what would be the counter at that. "Beam." I said, snapping my fingers, creating a dagger. I pointed at Shifty and the dagger flew at a speed that caused Shifty to be surprised. I smirked as I knew that the dagger would kill him. Once the dagger hit the bullseye, Shifty just dropped on the ground, as a splattering sound was made from his skull being destroyed.

I knew that he would came back, so I looked towards the entrance of the hall. Soon enough, Shifty came back, without any injuries. It seemed like he got really mad that I killed him, so he instantly rushed at me. "Beam." I said, doing the same thing as I knew that he would dodge it. He smiled as he saw the dagger flying near his head, but he didn't see me approaching him. 

"Link." I said, creating the same link as I did with Chara. "What are you doing ?!" Chara yelled at me, but I didn't care, I had a plan. As I smirked at him, he stopped for a second. "Checkmate." I said while I saw that he didn't even noticed. "You just linked me to your soul, that doesn't mean nothing." He said, his face was spewing anger, and I could feel that my eyes were doing the same thing. "Look at your right." I said, he did as I said and suddenly, he was stunned. His eyes went wide and he gasped as he saw the RESET button just under his right hand. "How is that even possible ?!" He yelled. I just loudly laughed. "Because you don't even know what I'm capable of." I said, stunning him to his very core. "See you soon, bastard." I said, while I made his hand slam the RESET button, making everything around me black.
