Jeremy
It's the big day, finals, and I'm nervous as hell to the point where I don't want to leave my bed.
This is what I've been dreaming of all year and I finally got the chance to lead my team to victory.
Marissa was moving around a little before she finally opened her eyes.
"I knew you were awake," she whispered.
"Why do you always wake up when I wake up?" I questioned.
She smiled, "I can feel when you wake up and then I don't wanna sleep anymore."
She rose from the bed and stretched.
I watched her attentively, storing every detail about her in memory.
I pulled her back on top of me and she squealed from my actions.
"I'm so happy for you guys," she confessed.
I touched her face endearingly, "If we win, I'll have everything I've ever wanted."
She raised a brow questionably, "So, am I apart of everything you've ever wanted?"
"Oh, you have no idea. I thought I could only dream of having you."
She rolled her eyes before kissing me tenderly.
She rested her forehead on mine before reluctantly pulling herself away and demanding that I get ready.
When I was done getting ready, she was dressed and ready to leave as well.
"Look, I have to go. I still have classes today and I have to get ready for later," she explained.
We kissed once more and then pulled away.
"I'll be in the front row cheering you on. Make me proud."
She blew me a kiss before she left.

We were watching tapes today of the previous games our opposing side played.
Coach was confident we would take the title and if not we would put up one hell of a fight for it.
We were better this year. Precise in game planning and our team was more cohesive.
Marcus and I made eye contact when coach was outlining the game plan on the whiteboard.
His energy has been off since he knew I was with his sister.
We were cordial for the most part because I've known him my entire life and he is still my best friend.
However, the way we would hang out all the time, those days were behind us.
Maybe once he's settled with the idea of Marissa and I, then he'll be able to accept our relationship and not let it affect our friendship.

It's thirty minutes to the game start time.
We're all clad in our gears going over the game plan again.
