The stadium buzzed with excitement.

The spectators were eagerly awaiting the start of the football game.

After what Jeremy said I decided to come support the team with Kiara.

Beside us is our friend, Mia, who's a thin Asian girl who we became acquainted with from our literature class.

She's dating Bobby, one of the guys on the team. Which answers all questions as to why she's sitting front row, and as close to the team as we are.

Games at home are always better for the boys since the support they got acted as a driving force for them to play harder.

"Why you want to come to these games all of a sudden? I've been begging you since freshman year," she talks loudly over the noise in the stadium.

"Someone encouraged me to come cheer for my brother."

"You think," she retorts, and when I shoulder bump her she laughs.

"But really, I'm so happy to hear that. I hope you will accompany me to every game from now on," she says before relaxing back into her seat.

I watched the boys as they emerged from the corner clad in their gear and ready to play, and the crowd cheered as they filed out onto the field.

My brother was somewhere in the background as the game hadn't started yet. Marcus, was a wide receiver and one of the best on the team.

I loved watching him play, he was so passionate about the game and played with enthusiasm.

The captains of both teams stepped forward, in order of the referee. There was a coin toss and it looks like USC would kick off.

The seven offensive players got in formation, positioning themselves from the scrimmage line and the crowd becomes deadly silent.

"Set! Hut hut!"

The center passes the ball underneath the legs of the other players huddled together, to the quarterback, Jeremy, stationed directly behind.

There was a lot of shoving, grunting and pushing. I didn't understand what the hell was going on in this savage ass game.

Our side erupts in cheers when the player with the last name Webster, who appears to be a rusher, made the touchdown.

After the ball is tossed to Webster who was open, he ran like quicksilver towards the end zone and advanced over the goal line to make the touchdown.

The game continues with things being a little rough for USC because of the advantages the other team has over theirs.

The players from the other team were big and bulky as opposing to the one's playing for USC. But the thing about the players at our school was that they were swift.

If I thought Marcus is looking good down there then I guess Jeremy is brilliant. With his passes, his throws and how he moves like lightning among the other twenty one players present.

As the nail biting game comes to an end, our side cheers excitedly for the win.

The boys celebrate in a huddle on the field along with some of the spectators. Kiara and I say our goodbyes to Mia, before scurrying out of the stadium before everyone would be trying to go out at the same time.
