Call This Number Now! Hunter x Reader (Part 2)

I was sitting in my room playing on my Swotch when Hunter called me. "Hey, Y/n? Luz wanted to have a movie night with all of us, and I was wondering if you want to come!" He asked cheerily, "Of course!! When do you want me to come over?" 

I heard shuffling on the phone then some whispering, "Luz said- Ow!" It sounded like someone hit him in the shoulder, "You can come over whenever." He said sounding distracted. I chuckled, "Ok see you soon!" 

I kept playing for a little bit when I got a text. I checked my phone to see a text from... Gus? I opened my phone and read the message, 

"Hey, are you coming to the movie tonight?" 

"Yeah, I'll be over soon." 

"Ok cool! 👍 ♥️"

"Whoops didn't mean to put the heart haha" 

I chuckled and closed my phone. I finished what I was doing, and got up from my bed. I walked into the kitchen and ate a granola bar. 

From: Hunter Last Night.

Gus and I were laying awake like we did many nights, talking. "Hey, hunter?" He suddenly says. "Hm?" I hummed in response "Say for example... you liked someone but you weren't sure if you really like that someone. And that someone is kind of... taken. What would you do?"

I lay in silence for a moment thinking about it. "Well before doing anything crazy, I'd stop and think about if I really like taht person. Then if I did, I would try my best to tell them, and if they reject me because they were with someone else then their loss right?" I chuckled.

Gus stayed silent then lightly laughed. "Yeah..." 

From: Y/n 

I walked over to Luz's house and knocked on the door. I heard a loud crash and then thumping noises. Hunter quickly opened the door and hugged me.

"Y/n! You're earlier than I expected..." Hunter looked like he had been baking. "What are you doing?" I asked as I smiled at him "Well, I was taking a shower, then I decided 'Hey! Why not bake a cake for when Y/n gets here!' I started but then I realized I have no idea how to bake a cake..." he frowned, his hair was still a little wet and I saw cake mix in it.

I moved my hand up to him and dusted it off his hair. He smiled at me and leaned his head into my arm "I missed you.." he said with his eyes closed seemingly enjoying my touch.

"Hunter we saw each other 2 days ago." I smiled at him when I heard another loud crash and what sounded like Gus screaming. Hunter quickly shot up and ran into the kitchen.

I slowly followed after and saw cake all over the floor and counter. Gus saw me walk in and placed his arm on the counter trying to cover up as much mess as possible while Hunter tried to get the cake out of the oven. "Y/n! Hi!" He said nervously sweat beads running down his face.

"What did you guys do?" I asked chuckling. "Turns out we were supposed to use 2 teaspoons of baking powder, not 2 tablespoons." He said looking at Hunter accusingly "Hey! It's a bit my fault human measurements are weird!" Hunter protested and I laughed.

Willow and Luz walked into the kitchen and gasped. Willow started laughing and Luz looked like she just witnessed a murder.

"My mom is going to kill me. She likes her kitchen spotless..." she mumbled something in Spanish then walked off. I sighed and went over to Hunter. "Here let me help." I placed a hand over Hunter's hand and helped him get the cake out of the oven.

Then I started helping clean up the rest of the kitchen.

By the time we were done, Luz had already picked a movie, and everyone except Hunter, the guys, and I had grabbed a slice of cake. The three of us grabbed some cake and walked into the living room.

Hunter and I sat on the floor, he carefully move his arm around making sure to watch if I responded negatively he would stop. I melted into his touch and rested my head on his shoulder. He seemed to tense up for a second then he calmed down.

Luz chose 'Hocus Pocus' and I cringed, Hunter noticed my visible discomfort with the movie and whispered, "Hey? Are you ok?" He asked with care and kindness in his voice.

"Yeah... you'll see why I cringed."

(Btw, y/n cringed because she knew everyone would hate it because it shows witches poorly, I think Hocus Pocus is a decent movie, it's a classic for sure.)

The movie finished and I looked up at Hunter who looked visibly disgusted. "Told ya so~," I said in a teasing voice. "Witches can step on hollow ground!" Amity complained, "We don't eat children! Well most of us anyway.." Gus whispered the last part. "And most of all if we die we die there is no black candle!!" Hunter complained. All the witches in the room started complaining about the movie and I crawled over to Luz.

"You chose this movie to get a reaction out of them didn't you?" I smirked and she smirked back "You know me too well!" She smiled and we sat back as the 4 witches yelled about how inaccurate the movie was.

"Wait till you guys see the second one!" I laughed knowing the second one was way worse.

(I stand by the statement Hocus Pocus 2 was garbage)
