Call This Number Now! Hunter x Reader (Part 2)

A/n: this chapter is long, but it's also fast-paced cuz that's how the episode feels, so some parts will be longer but others will be. also, this episode has a lot of just Luz and since you've watched the episode I didn't think I needed to rewrite all that so we're just gonna write what Hunter and the gang see with some extra Y/n splash!

The ground started shaking, I felt a ribbon-like texture wrap around my wrists and ankles. "Hunter!" I reached out for him and grabbed his hand, soon I was knocked out.

I woke up but... my body wasn't mine..? I was moving, in the shadows watching as Amity yelled at Luz. I tried desperately to move but I couldn't. A feeling of hatred was plastered onto my face.

Suddenly Luz was in a grove of trees, each tree had a picture frame in it but nothing was filling the slots of each picture. I watched as Willow was crying blaming Luz.

Then I was forced to clap and boo in an audience of 100s. I watched as Gus shamed Luz and blamed her. God, why can't I move? Get me out!

Then it was Hunter's turn. "Luz..." he laughed, "I had a wonderful life. I had orders, I had a purpose in life. All I wanted to do was fulfill the Titan's plans." He scoffed and I was forced to watch.

"You brought me to the human world after I left everything behind, and I met a girl." He rolled his eyes "Nothing could prepare me to lose one of the most important things in my life just because we were trying to do something nice for you." He kneeled and gripped his knees "Oh and you get a palismen. You haven't been through NEARLY the amount of paint I've endured and yet you are the one who gets to sleep well at night knowing your palismen is right there... Why Luz? Why do you get to have it all?" He said in a gravely voice.

Hunter scoffed and Luz fell through the bridge bricks and into... no...

"Oh, Luz." My mouth spoke for me as Luz looked around. "I hope you remember this place, you helped build this treehouse..." I was forced to laugh. "My life was fine. I was fine alone after you left." I paced around her. "I had my mom and that's all I needed. But of course..." I laughed as tears started to flow "You had to waltz right back into my life like nothing happened."

"I helped you meet Hunter- a-and I'm sorry for what I said I-" she pleaded and I tried so desperately to get myself to stop "No, you only cared about getting back to your precious boiling isles.. so much you made me KILL my boyfriend's best friend!" I laughed manically then the floor shot upwards and turned to brick, bringing up back to the bridge at the beginning.

I looked over at Hunter as Amity threatened Luz. He looked empty inside those eyes. I know he saw what I said and I know those were all things I had thought before but... I didn't mean it...

Suddenly I felt like I was shot back into my body "Wh- What's-" Amity was instructing Luz on what to do when everyone turned to Hunter "Think about it.. What's the first thing you do when you wake up from a bad dream..?" Hunter sounded so broken but hopeful. I felt the ribbons wrap around me again and I was pulled into the sky.

I lay on the cold floor of the archives as an unmoving puppet, I stared into Hunter's empty puppet eyes wondering what he saw in mine... 

His arm was draped over my torso as we lay there. It felt like eons. I laid there replaying what I said to Luz over and over again, like a broken record. "..after you left..." I screamed at my head to stop as it just kept replaying "My life was fine..." I felt myself slip as I could only stare into the person I loved with empty eyes.

The words kept tearing into me, as I remembered watching as I crushed flapjack. 

Suddenly I woke up and Hunter sat up next to me. I felt my face and looked down a puddle of tears was on the ground and my face was dripping wet. Hunter immediately hugged me and I kept crying ignoring everything else. He hugged me as if forgiving me for everything I was forced to do.
