I laid back on Hunter's small air mattress waiting for him to get out of the shower so we could finally finish watching Gravity Falls. Summer was coming to an end and I always watch the last little bit of it during the last week of summer.

Gus walked down the stairs and as soon as he saw me, he gagged and looked like he was holding his mouth trying not to throw up. "Jeeze do I smell that bad?" I laughed and he swallowed whatever it was and rapidly shook his head.

"No! No... not at all I'm just uhm..." he paused "I'm sick that's all." He blushed and looked away. I shrugged and leaned my head back against Hunter's pillow again. Gus sat on the couch and stared at the ceiling.

We sat in silence until Gus spoke up. "Hey- shoot that was loud... uhm can we ta-" Gys got cut off by Hunter walking the stairs, he was wearing pajamas and a towel around his hair. "Oh hey Gus, do you wanna watch TV with us?" Gus quickly turned his head around and stood up. He gagged again and ran up the stairs towards the bathroom.

"Is he ok?" I asked as Hunter walked down the stairs. "I'm not sure... I'll talk to him about it later." Hunter then picked me up and set me on the couch "Hey! I'm very capable of doing that myself you know..." I giggled as he cuddled up next to me.

Willow walked into the living room while I put together a puzzle. "Hey Luz, can we talk?" She asked as she carefully sat next to me. I looked up from the puzzle. "Sure! What's up?" I asked and gave her my full attention.

Willow sighed, "Gus has... Hanahaki disease..." she said sadly and I stared at her "What's that." I said bluntly. Willow looked surprised and then sighed again "It's a disease where Gus will cough up flower petals, then full roses, then full bouquets until he..." She cut herself off and I stood up quickly. "What?! How do we stop it?? Is it contagious?!" I asked frantically. "Only he can stop it and no, it is not contagious."

Willow went on to explain what the disease was and how Gus had to stop it. "He has to tell Y/n?!" Right as I yelled that Hunter walked by the doorway to the living room and his ears popped up.

"What about Y/n?" He asked and I went pale. "Uhhh well- you see- Y/n has a human thing. None ya." I yelled in little blurbs. Hunter shrugged and walked into the kitchen to grab some popcorn.

I took a deep breath then whispered to Willow "Does Hunter know?" Willow shook her head and I sighed.

After we finished Gravity Falls it got late and I stretched. "Hey, do you know any cool Emperor's Coven games?" I asked as I stood up.

Hunter thought for a moment "Well, there was this one that Lilith used to play with me when i was little..." he swiftly picked me up. "Agh! What is this game?!" He kept carrying me, then smirked "OK, so I'm gonna change it a little because you're my girlfriend..." he dipped me, nearly dropping me.

"Guess a color" he smirked as he dipped me. "Wh- what?!" I held onto him tightly. "Wrong." He pulled me up and kissed me.

I gasped and my eyes went wide. He dipped me again "Guess a color" he looked too proud of himself and I was surprised he was holding me for so long. "Uhm... blue!" I guessed.

"Wrong." He smirked and kissed me again. "Hunter!!" I laughed. He dipped me again, "Guess a color" I gasped "Uhh uhm..." I thought long and hard "Took too long!" He smirked and kissed me.

I whined, "You didn't give me enough time!!" I whined loudly and he smirked again. "Pick a color" I paused "Pink!!" I shouted and he laughed and let me down. "Correct!!" 

I punched him lightly in the shoulder. "That was unfair." I fake pouted. He laughed and hugged me from behind. Then Lyz came downstairs, "Hey you guys, my mom is taking us to a diner if yall wanna come"

I quickly nodded and ran up the stairs. Everyone was almost ready to go, except Gus. Gus was nowhere to be seen.

"Hey..." I paused as I approached Willow "Where's Gus?" As soon as I asked, Willow's face went pale. "Uhm.. he uhm he's coming.. he's just uhm... busy..." She looked panicked. I shrugged and followed Hunter to the car.

After about 5 minutes of waiting Gus came out of the house and he looked pale. He climbed into the car and sat next to Hunter like usual. "Hey, Gus.. are you ok?" I asked as I leaned forward to make eye contact with him.

Camilla started the car and Gus gagged and held his mouth when he saw me "Look if I smell bad-" I started but Gus swallowed and cut me off "No! I mean.. no you smell just fine er..." Gus looked away quickly as he held his mouth again.

Hunter looked at him curiously and shrugged.

When we got to the Diner, we all piled out 9f the car and into the main dining area of the restaurant. Luz and Amity sat in their own booth, and so did Gus and Willow. Hunter and I sat down in our own booth and I looked at the menu.

"Hey! Wanna get a milkshake?" I asked Hunter and he tilted his head. "You do know what a milkshake is... right?" I asked and Hunter looked embarrassed. I laughed and explained what a milkshake was, then the waiter walked over.

"What can I get you..." he paused as he stared at me "...cutie?" He smirked and Hunter whipped his head to look at the waiter. "Oh uhm... we'll have one milkshake." I smiled and the waiter leaned on the table "Aw.. just one? That means you guys are a couple huh..." the waiter pouted and Hunter snapped.

"Yes! We are a couple and I am her boyfriend!" Hunter smirked at the guy as he took my hand. The waiter rolled his eyes and walked off. I looked at Hunter curiously, "did you just get jealous?" I asked with a smirk.

Hunter blushed "kinda..." I chucked. After about 2 minutes the waiter came back with the milkshake. He started to flirt with me and I was visibly very uncomfortable.

"Don't you have anywhere else to be than hitting on my girlfriend?" Hunter hissed. "Hey, I'm just playing around with you guys, nothing wrong with that." The waiter shrugged.

I grabbed Hunter's hand a squeezed it telling him this wasn't a battle worth fighting.

Hunter laughed a little and sat down, the waiter looked confused but then he left. "Dumb guy... I should have told him off, sorry Hunter" I said while holding Hunter's hand. "No no, watch I'll show him how to 'play around'" I saw Flapjack under the table and suddenly, the waiter -who was flirting with some other girl- spilled all the drinks he was holding and slipped and fell into them, causing him to get a milkshake and soda in his hair. (and he got the milkshake all over the girl)

Hunter and I laughed loudly and the waiter shot us dirty looks as he ran to the bathroom to wash his hair.

I giggled and drank some of our milkshake.
