My dad waited with me at my gate. He couldn't go with me because he had stuff to do here in Crowley (basically Fort Worth), so I have to fly alone.
"Your mom said she can't pick you up because she is still prepping the house for your "arrival" so someone else will. I don't know who cause she said it was a surprise."

"Also listen to what the flight attendants tell you."

You guys I'll be fine plus they separate kids that are riding alone from the rest and they keep us watched by flight attendants

I locked my phone as they opened up my gate. They called kids that are riding alone first. I stood up with my dad and we walked over. He gave me a hug and kiss.
"I love you. Text me when you land and let me know if you want to leave."
"yes sir" I gave him one more hug before I followed the flight attendant and another kid.
I sat down in the seat next to the other kid. The flight attendant explained the bathroom, snacks, and to get her attention when we need it. Then the rest of the passengers started to come in.
After they got settled, the captain went through everything, they then said to turn our phones on airplane mode. I turned my phone on and saw a text from Isaak.
