"WHERE ARE YOU? ARE you alone right now?" I ask Aries over the phone as I ran towards Gelo's house to borrow his motorcycle. Thankfully, when I got to their house, Gelo's younger brother, Aaron, was sitting outside playing an online game on his phone.
"I'm alone at home. Mom's with her friends, and Dad's at work," Aries answers.
"Alright, I'll be there right away," I then tell him before ending the call. "Aaron! Where's the keys to your brother's bike?" I ask Aaron next, but the kid wasn't even able to notice me because his eyes were glued to his screen.
"Fuck you asshole! You can't even enter the base!" Aaron shouts at the other kids he was playing with online. "Do something you useless bastard!" He continues to shout, so I grab his phone from his hand, instantly making him look at me with complete anger.
"Dom! You fucker! Give me that back!" Aaron shouts.
"Where's the keys to the motorcycle?" I ask him again.
"It's with that idiot Angelo. He's inside," Aaron finally answers, so I quickly hand him his phone back before barging inside their house where his sister was watching television.
"Hey, Dom. Gelo's in the restroom," Gelo's youngest, Kimberly, tells me before I could even ask her.
I rush to the restroom where the door's lock was broken. I've always been aware that Gelo only uses a shoelace to keep the door closed, so I aggressively push the door open, revealing Gelo who's busy taking a shower.
"Holy shit! Dom, are you crazy?!" Gelo shouts as he immediately covers his lower area with the tabo (something like a dipper) that he's already holding.
"We've taken a bath together since we were toddlers. And you've done this to me too, so suck it up," I defended as Gelo washes the soap out of his eyes. "Now let me borrow your motorcycle keys. It's an emergency."
"Where the hell are you going? Don't you have a birthday party?"
"Yeah, I'm coming back eventually. I just need to go somewhere. Just explain to Mama that something came up and I need to go to Aries's house. I'll be back as soon as I can," I tell him, and Gelo sighs, almost like he already guessed that this was about my boyfriend.
Without saying anything, Gelo points at his pants that are hanging behind the door. I immediately grabbed the keys from his pocket and thanked him. I then grab the helmet before running right back outside.
I wore the helmet, hopped on the motorcycle, and immediately drove to Aries's house without wasting any more seconds. I'm not the type to be worried like this, except for when something happens to Mama, so I haven't gotten the chance to keep calm during such a situation. I don't even know why I'm acting like this, to be honest. I don't know if I'm just worried about Aries or maybe it's because I'm just more worried about that guy Iñigo. I already told myself that I'd ignore his past with my boyfriend and just be civil with him at work, but then he pulls such an idiotic stunt.
