It took a while, but Code of Aries has now officially ended!
The last few chapters were a bit difficult for me because I have this trait where I get unmotivated when I'm nearing the end of something. This applies to when I'm reading a book or watching a series. When I know I'm about to finish it, I just tend to stop, afraid to accept the conclusion. This is what happened to me when I was writing COA, and this isn't an exaggeration at all.
Code of Aries is a story that is very different from my other works. It's a much calmer book, but at the same time, it's more realistic than any of the works I've written, especially since it has aspects of my personal life. I had to unlock some of my past as well when I wrote this so my attachment to this book is way more than I expected it to be.
Thank you, everyone, for giving this book a chance. COA is a book that I showed so much of myself, my life, and my family. This novel is very dear to my heart, and I will never regret ever writing this for all of you.
Thank you as well to those who shared with me their stories on how they related to Dom and Aries. It means so much to me when I know that my works are touching people's hearts, even just for a bit. This is my ultimate goal as a writer. And this is the reason why I write these books.
Thank you to my old readers for trying COA out despite how different this is from the rest of my books, as well as to the new readers who joined us through Dom and Aries's story.
Another reason why the Code of Aries is such an important book to me is because this is also the first novel I published under the Creators Program. Being a 抖阴社区 Creator has been such an honor, so having to write COA in my first year as a creator is always going to be a heartwarming experience for me. I will forever be thankful to have been given this opportunity.
I would like to thank the people who guided me in this program, especially my coordinators, Ms. Joselle and Ms. Nayin, and our editor, Rawles, whom I met when I was struggling with how to really write this story. COA wouldn't be possible without them.
Of course, I would also like to thank my sisters, who are my number one supporters for real. Ate G, thank you for buying me a cake when COA reached its first 10k reads. I appreciated that so freakin' much. And to MJ, my little sister who used a quote from this book for her graduation photo, ate is very very proud of you. You're going to be a college student soon, and I hope you get to experience something magical. Maybe even find your own number 22.
Lastly, I would to thank my readers, the BONERS, for always supporting me in my writing journey. You guys have witnessed me grow here. You saw how I reached milestones and how I improved in becoming a better writer. I will seriously be indebted to you guys. This is not the end. There's still so much I want to write and share with every single one of you so I hope you can stick by me a little longer.
This was my first full romance-based book, and I hope I did a good job.
To the moon and back, thank you my Numer 22's. And as I always say, it has been an honor writing for you. This is my official goodbye to THE CODE OF ARIES.
Until next time!
