Why on earth is he waiting outside Aries's house? Wasn't he the one who broke up with Aries in the first place? And now that I think about it, why did Aries look so sad when I mentioned Iñigo last time? Or rather, he looked more scared than sad. Did something happen between them in the past? Did Iñigo do something else other than break up with him?

But if I analyze it a little more, Iñigo seems to have worked in the Red Light Bar for a long time now, probably around the same time Jack was around. Jack is literally 36 years old, and Madam Scarlet doesn't hire minors. Does that mean that Iñigo was around his 30's when he dated Aries, and Aries was around 19 or 20? What on earth is that fucker doing with someone that young? The more I think about it, the more my blood starts boiling even more.

I've always thought that I'm finally able to understand and crack Aries's code when we officially became together, but that wasn't the case at all. It was far from that. There's still so much I don't know about Aries and his past.

What did Iñigo do with him before he met me?

And what the fuck is Iñigo doing now?

"Aries, I'm a few blocks away from your house. You should get ready," I tell Aries from the other line.

"Okay, I'll head downstairs," he answers before ending the call.

After one last turn, I finally arrive at the Buan residence. Aries's car was parked outside, but then another car was parked on the other side of the road. It was obvious that someone was waiting inside, but I couldn't really see who it is since the windows are tinted.

"That must be Iñigo," I whisper as I park the bike behind Aries's car. I got off and quickly ran to the gate and started ringing the doorbell. It took a minute, but Aries heads out of the house soon after, wearing a cap and a pair of dark shades, and then runs to the gate to welcome me.

"Dom, let's go. Hurry," Aries says as he closes the gate behind him.

"Alright, come on," I answer as I drape my arm around his shoulder to protect him. But as I touch him, I instantly notice that his body is actually trembling. And as soon as I felt such fear in him, my blood instantly starts boiling.

I try to calm myself down as I lead Aries to the bike. I opened the compartment and handed him the other helmet, but right when Aries is about to wear it, a hand suddenly grabs him and pulls him away from me.

"Aries," a low voice calls out, instantly making me turn around to face the stranger. "Aries, please, let's just talk for a second. I just need to explain something to you."

A man appears right before me with his hand grabbing hold of Aries's arm. He's taller, bigger, and way older than I am. His presence was so intimidating too that I almost backed away, but I stood my ground and instantly push him off Aries so he could let go of him.

"Who the hell are you?" I ask as the man I'm assuming is Iñigo, looks down at me with eyes that instantly made me gulp. How is this man so intimidating? I'm starting to understand why Aries seems so scared of him.

"I should be asking you the same question, kid," Iñigo then says back.

Damn, Madam Scarlet, where the hell did you even get this man?

"Knowing who I am isn't important. What's important here is that Aries doesn't want to speak with you. So scram and get the fuck out," I retaliate.

Iñigo looked like he was going to add something to what I said, but I suddenly felt Aries's hand squeezing my arm. "Dom, let's just go," he then whispers, so I take a deep breath and try to think rationally. This isn't the time to be engaging with this man. I have to get Aries out of here as soon as possible. That's my top priority right now.
