(44) Don't Be Rude

"Let's just go," I say as Aries finally wears the helmet. I glance at Iñigo again who's clearly staring down at me from head to toe, but he doesn't say anything else and just lets us go. So I quickly adjusted the helmet on my head and got on the motorcycle before finally driving Aries away from his crazy ex.

I couldn't help but glance at the side view mirror where Iñigo was still standing in the same spot, staring at us like he was planning something. I couldn't help but grip the motorcycle's handlebar in complete frustration. That wasn't even a full-on confrontation, but I already felt so small around him. I felt like I couldn't protect Aries properly, and that angers me so much.

But while I'm filled with these ugly feelings of anger and frustration, Aries suddenly wraps his arm around my waist before leaning his head on my back. "Thank you for coming to get me, Dom," he says to me, and the warmth he gave me was enough to clear my head from all the doubt. I guess this is just the beginning of the ups and downs of our relationship. I obviously don't know what Aries and I are gonna face in the future. But as long as I know that Aries will continue to hold onto me tight like this, I can confront even the biggest assholes if I have to, just to ensure my moon is safe and sound.

"Aries, I'm going to work now," I whisper to Aries whose still sleeping on my bed. Aries slowly opens his eyes as I lean forward to give him a kiss on his head. "Just sleep in. I'll see you tomorrow," I then whisper, and Aries grabs me and pulls me close to give me another kiss on my lips this time.

"How about Iñigo? Will you be okay? Promise me you won't engage in anything with him. If you can, just ignore him," He then says.

I smile at him and brush his hair back with my finger, assuring him that I'm going to be alright. "Don't worry about me and just go back to bed."

"Okay. Belated happy birthday again, babe. I'll see you tomorrow morning," Aries then says, and I look down at his naked body before pulling the covers to hide the love marks I left all over him.

Aries goes back to sleep as I head out of the bedroom.

Yesterday was a mix of worry and joy. Worry because I finally got to face Iñigo for the first time and just literally got overpowered by him even though he haven't done anything yet. And joy because despite my encounter with Aries's ex, I was able to celebrate my birthday with the people I'm closest with.

Justin, Vicki, and even Gelo went home at 3:00 AM in the morning because we ended up drinking and singing all night. Art obviously wanted to go home early, but Gelo was too much of a bad influence so he was able to make Art stay till 11:00 PM, which was his maximum curfew hour. Aries told us that if he went home just an hour later, he would have no doubt been scolded by their parents.

When everyone else left, Aries, on the other hand, stayed behind. And because we were both drunk and because he insisted on giving me a birthday gift, we ended up having sex for the remaining time I had left before heading to work. It's a miracle that Mama wasn't able to hear us because I literally had to cover Aries's mouth the entire time.

That's why right now, besides the insane hangover that I have, my sexual drive is still off the roof. If I think of Aries just for a second, a bulge is definitely gonna appear on my pants, and I don't want to have a boner on the day I finally get to meet Iñigo at the bar.

Or you know what, maybe it's a good thing that I'll have one. That way I'll get to tell Iñigo that I was having crazy sex with Aries all morning. Now let's see if he'll still be able to look down on me like he did yesterday.

Wait, Domingo M. Adlawan, what the hell are you even thinking? That's the most fucked up thing you could ever think of. There's no way I'm gonna talk about Aries in such a way. The things we do should only be kept private, even if sometimes it would feel satisfying to rub it in his ex's face.
