"Ohh!" Everyone shouts, some doubting that Nicole would dare do such a thing.
"If you don't do it, you're gonna have to take another shot," Mae then says, and Nicole looks around the group before bravely standing from the log she's sitting on. Everyone starts cheering as a senior turns on some sexy music that's playing loudly on the speakers.
I start bobbing my head to the music while I continue drinking my beer. I watch as Nicole continues to look around the group, and to my surprise, she approaches me, instantly making me spill my drink in shock.
"Oh my god! Go, Nicole!" Ash shouts as Nicole puts her hands on my shoulder, swaying her hips side to side while I cover my eyes in embarrassment, my cheeks heating up because of it. Everyone started cheering for her, and when I looked up to check on Aries, Aries was cheering too and having fun, which honestly made me feel relieved.
Since Nicole was doing her best, I started hyping her up as she continued her dance. I don't know if she really thinks I'm the most attractive one around here or if she knows I'm gay and thinks I'm the best option so she doesn't get uncomfortable. But either way, I'm flattered to be danced by someone so pretty.
"And that's it! Good job, Nicole!" Mae says as Nicole gives her finishing bow.
"Thanks for being a sport, Dom," Nicole then says as she walks back to her seat.
"How was it, Dom? Did you enjoy Nicole's performance?" Mae asks, and I show them a thumbs up in reply.
"I bet you did," Luke sarcastically comments right after, but thankfully no one paid him any mind.
The game continued on for a couple more times. Some were dared to swim in the cold ocean and stay there for at least ten minutes. Others chose truth and talked about the people they hated during their pageant. I enjoyed watching everyone enjoy the night, but it was all fun and games until the bottle stopped in my direction.
"Oh! It's our Mr. LU!" Mae excitedly says as I take a shot of brandy.
The alcohol heats my throat up but doesn't really affect me much since I drink for a living. So compared to the others who are obviously starting to get drunk, I'm still pretty much sober. Which means I'm sober enough not to choose Dare.
"I choose truth," I answer, and the seniors huddle up again.
I glance at Aries, who's happily chatting with Diane, before turning to the seniors, who finally discussed what to ask me.
"Apparently, this was a popular question, and many of us have been dying to know about it too. So Domingo M. Adlawan...are you in a relationship right now?" Mae asks, the question almost unexpectedly expected. Everyone waits for me with anticipation as I look around the campfire. And when my eyes fell on Aries, he was staring at the ground, making it impossible for me to know how he felt about the question.
When they saw my hesitation, the seniors started preparing the drink that I had to take as a penalty. I can honestly just take the shot since it's just alcohol, but I also don't want to ruin the mood since everyone else has done theirs without declining it.
"Dom?" Ashley then calls out, making me blink and blurt out my truth before I can even stop my mouth from saying it.
"Yes," I answer, and Aries immediately looks at me as the group starts cheering.
"I knew it! You look too happy to be single," someone says, making me laugh.
Aries takes a deep breath and looks away from me again. I thought he got mad, but to my surprise, his ears started to turn red, which meant he wasn't mad about my answer at all. I bet he even liked it.
