KoKo spoke up, looking almost as nervous as you. "Will he be okay?"
"Hopefully. Wu is the best guy to know about this. He was taught by his father about this kind of stuff, and after him is the second most knowledgeable person like.. ever when it comes to this stuff."
Spinning her chair side to side, she sighed. "So how do you even know Lloyd? The boss seems to know him as well. So Wu's father taught you some stuff as well?"
Raising your eyebrows, you scoffed. "Well, Wu is his uncle, and I'm his girlfriend."
"But I thought you said you were Wu's niece-"
Pulling the crescent pendant out of your pocket, you held it up to where she could see it. "Technically niece-in-law, and no, The First Spinjitzu Master didn't teach me anything, it would be cool to meet him though." Taking a second, you decided to put the medallion on.
Looking as pale as she could be, now KoKo looked sick herself. "So that means Lloyd...?"
"Is quarter god? Yeah, basically. An eighth Oni and an eighth Dragon. His dad is Garmadon, but only the good part of him. It's kinda confusing at first, but you start to understand." Did you dump too much on her? Maybe.
She shakily stood up, walking past you. "I'm going to make myself coffee, you want any?"
Shaking your head, you stared at the shut door. "I'm more of a tea drinker."
"Suit yourself."
Then you stood in silence, waiting what felt like forever for some news, any news about Lloyd. Blinking, your eyes slowly began to shut, but quickly opened to not let yourself fall. That'd be embarrassing.
The only thing keeping the room from complete science was the occasional bubble of the coffee machine. Then when it was done brewing, the slow, shaking sips of KoKo kept you feeling present.
The doorknob turned, and Wu came out, holding a lighter bag now. "So. I've been able to figure out where the problem is, and how to treat it, but-"
You frowned. "But?"
"But, it requires a rare material that we can't find in Ninjago."
Biting your bottom lip, you nodded. "Ninjago as the city right? We just have to go to the countryside.. right?"
Wu shook his head. "We need dragon's skin. Not any dragon though, we need Firstbourne's shed."
Firstbourne. When was the last time you even heard that name? "If we have to find Firstbourne, then that means we have to go-" Your breaths became unstable, and you covered your mouth with your hand.
"Huh? Where do you have to go?!" KoKo exclaimed, concerned why you had gone quiet.
With a nod, Wu sighed. "We have to go back to the First Realm."
Crouching down, you put your head into your knees, holding your head down with your hands. You weren't going to go back. You weren't going to go back. You couldn't go back. You barely managed to escape it the first time, but now it was coming back to swallow you whole.
Feeling someone sit next to you, you turned your head, staring at Wu. "I.. don't want to go back there."
"I know. But you know this place better than anyone. I'm sorry we never looked for you sooner, but if we're going to save my nephew, we have to do this. We'll get the shed, then get home. If we do it right, it should only take a short while.." He lifted his hand, touching the pendant on your neck. "Please? For Lloyd?"
Letting your legs down, you sighed. "I'll go, for Lloyd. But we have to be prepared. I'm not going back with out extra food, water, and we're bringing multiple bags of Traveller's Tea."
Wu agreed, looking up at KoKo. "Can you watch Lloyd while we're gone? Y/n should be able to tell if anything worsens, either through a vision or feeling, but it would be best to be safe, rather than sorry."
"Of course. I'd do anything for that kid. Just be as fast as possible. Please. I don't want anything to happen to him."
Pulling on your dark gloves, you scoffed. "I'm not planning on making it a sleepover if I can."
With a small chuckle, Wu turned into Lloyd's room to grab his bag. "I should be able to make enough Travellers Tea to the First Realm for several trips with the materials in my bag. Should only take a short while."
Walking into Lloyd's room, you sat on the bed, moving a strand of hair out of his face. Would he want to see you when you woke up? Would he be thankful you saved him? Or did he do this to himself? How did this even happen?
Cupping your hand around his cheek, you sighed. "I could've- I should've prevented this. I'm sorry. I thought when I got that bad feeling it was just because the team had disbanded. I should've known that something was wrong. I'm so sorry." Now pressing your forehead against his, you could feel his hot breath against your lips.
"Y/n?" Sitting up, you looked at the door, where KoKo was standing. "You okay? Wu is ready with the tea."
Pursing your lip, you nodded. "I will be once he's okay. I'm sorry for arguing with you earlier."
She waved her hand, "It's okay. I should've known Lloyd had somebody like you in his life. I honestly was surprised he was single."
Swallowing you agreed. "I'm lucky. Aren't I? Any- anyways, Wu and I have to get going."
Glancing around the small room, your eyes landed on the shining object underneath his dresser. Sliding it out, you stared at his golden dao. You had forgotten your sword at home. Holding it in your hands, it felt right. It'd be useful to have a weapon in the First Realm. Attaching the sheath to your hip, you placed it in.
With a nod, KoKo led the way to the living room, where they had set up bags for both of you. Slipping a sling bag over your chest, you silently put on the backpack, the older adults both watching you.
"We'll be back soon." Wu announced to KoKo, putting a backpack on as well, holding the kettle. "Keep Lloyd safe. He's important."
Quietly laughing, KoKo nodded. "I'll take care of the hero, you be safe yourself."
Taking the teapot, Wu poured the tea on the carpet, making a dark wet spot. It slowly began to glow a bright blue, becoming stronger by the second. The droplets rose from the floor, and began spinning mid-air.
Readjusting a bag, you stared at the glowing blue portal. Go to the First Realm, find Firstbourne, get her shed, and come back. Simple enough of a plan.
Wu first stepped through the spiraling tea, glowing a faint blue, and then he was gone.
Glancing back to KoKo, you smiled at her wonder. "Thanks again for taking care of Lloyd. You seem like a good older sister. I'm glad he found you."
"I'm glad he has you to save him. Safe travels Y/n."
And so you stepped through.

Here's some fun facts about this chapter:It's part 100 including both Characters and Notes and Between Era Note (but part 98 based on how I ordered chapters)
KoKo is around her mid to late 30's
I almost had KoKo go with Y/n instead of Wu but it didn't make much sense
I came up with the return to the First Realm plot on a whim, and am sticking with it :3
Writing this, I almost had Wu and Y/n's roles switched in this chapter but it definitely works better how it is.
Lloyd wore his Yin-Yang medallion the entire time after leaving the monastery (4-5 months or so at this point)
Y/n has been living with Wu for 3-4 months but has only gone to therapy three times through her busy schedule (which is better than none at all tbh, she's so fucking traumatized)
