Diving over a tree branch, you couldn't help but give a shout of excitement.
Launching your grapple back out, you hooked into another tree, swinging alongside your team.
You could vaguely hear Kai and Arin both shout behind you. It wasn't hard to guess Arin had messed up again. He was doing adult level things.. he wasn't ready.
"No! You aren't in the moment!" Egalt's voice rang through the treetops. "Loose your sense of self and your surroundings. Feel the motion. Be the motion!"
Spinning over a limb, you let your head fall back, flipping onto your stomach. Shutting your eyes, you let the familiar comfort of weightlessness fill your chest. Once the momentum was built up, you hooked ahead once more, continuing.
Egalt shouted once more, to everyone, or just one person, you weren't sure. "Never forget the universe is always in motion. Once you align with it, that's when you'll unlock skills you never thought were possible."
His voice constantly listing out commands wasn't helping you focus on the motion.
At least you knew how it felt to be a web-slinger.

Rolling the dough, you glanced up to Nya, having to do a double take. "You kind of have a little something there." You laughed, pointing at your nose.
She rubbed at it, only creating more of a floury mess. Grabbing the towel, you scoffed.
Walking around to her, you grabbed her chin to keep her from moving, dabbing at the mess. "There." You said, once it was all gone. You almost didn't know whether to act like an older or younger sibling around her sometimes.
She stared down at the noodle dough, scoffing dryly. "He'd try to be cute and do that, but it'd just end up with us both covered in flour."
You didn't have to ask to know she was talking about Jay. Grabbing her powdery hand, you gave her a tight lipped smile. "We'll find him. It's not like he'd just not look for us. Knowing him, he's probably become a king or something of an illusive cat tribe."
"That does sound like him." She chuckled, looking up at you. "I must sound like such a downer.. I barely even know how to act around these kids."
Dropping your smile, you nodded. "You have a lot going on in that head of yours, huh?"
Continuing to work the dough with her hands, she shrugged. "I think we all do. Between Ras and the Forbidden Five, Jay missing, Arin on the verge of losing it, WyldFyre's leg, Euphrasia getting captured again.. it's hard not to get overwhelmed."
"Well, just have to take one thing at a time and file the rest away for later then." You answered simply, rolling the dough out. "Like firstly, we have to finish shaping these noodles before Kai gets back, he gave us one job in the kitchen and we are falling behind."
She laughed at your joke, her eyes crinkling. "I guess we should, huh?"
Cutting the dough into strips, you set them aside one by one to dry out enough so Kai could cook them.
Someone started panting wildly behind you, running down the stairs of the Plume. It was like he had run a marathon. "NYA! Nya, stop with the cooking, Egalt is calling us to do one on one fights!"
She rolled her eyes, wiping her hands on the towel. "Seriously Kai? What happened to dinner? I don't want to eat anymore of the shit Y/n cooks."
"It was one time I burnt the quesadilla! One time!" You argued, slamming your hands on the table, causing a flurry of powder to go around the red walled room.
