"Uh.. Soraaa, earth to Sora? We were talking about ways to get into Imperium, why are you tinkering with screws?" You asked, propped up against a crutch Geo had made. It had a pretty flower design on the side.

She turned around, eyes wide. "Oh! Sorry, forgot we were talking. If I can create a weapon for Zanth that can amplify her natural energy, we might be able to blast through the barrier surrounding Imperium! I- unless you have a better idea.."

Shaking your head, you sighed. "Go build that weapon."

Sora immediately ran over to the pile the 'Horder' had left, and grinned to Riyu. The dragon's eyes lit up, and Sora began to glow pink.

You looked to Cole. "I- I'm so frustrated I can't- I can't even think straight. And the visions are starting to come back now and I- I.." you glanced at Spitz and Fritz. "Cover your ears.. FUCK MY LIFE!"

Geo rolled his eyes. "Don't be too hard on yourself, you can't always expect yourself to be perfect."

"But I have to be-"

Sitting beside you, Cole raised his brow. "No buts. We all mess up, and it's perfectly normal."

"Hey! I love you guys talking it out, but I really need to focus!" Sora shouted, constructing the armor. It slipped over Zanth's head, locking in place just below her neck.

Walking up to Zanth, you let Sora on, going to climb up as well. Before you could though, a hand wrapped around your arm.

Cole swallowed. "Can I talk with you really quick?"

You pressed your lips together, nodding. "We gotta get going, but what's up?"

"Remember how I mentioned I can feel the ground screaming? It's gotten worse. I'm sure you've noticed. But I- last night I heard a voice. Master Wu's. He was calling me to the edge of the valley. I don't-" He shut his eyes, huffing.

With a nod, you put a hand on his shoulder. "Don't know if you should trust it? You should. Kai mentioned Master Wu leading him to the Portal Gates, and he was there to help save us. I'm not sure what it is, but it's good news."

He sighed. "What would I do without you?" He pulled you into a tight embrace. "I don't know when I'll see you again, but when I do, I'll make sure it's on better terms than this, I swear."

Resting your neck on his shoulder, you nodded. "When I see you and the Finders again, I'll bring Lloyd and Zane and Kai and Arin and WyldFyre and-" You sniffled. "They'll be so happy to see you."

Nodding, he squeezed you tighter, letting go. "See you on the flip side, Y/n."

You pushed him away with a joking groan. "No one says that anymore, Old Man."

Hopping on the back of Zanth, you waved goodbye to Cole and the Finders, rising into the sky. Gosh, you were exhausted and your skin was definitely more bruised than unbruised.

The clouds parted to reveal Imperium, sitting in all it's Dictatorship-glory.

"For a kingdom so.. ugh, it does look perfect from here." You said to Sora, Riyu curled on your lap.

She tightened her grip around your waist, grumbling. "The citizens still think it is too. Just ask my parents."
