"My head..." Leah grumbled with her forehead pressed against the breakfast bar.

To say she'd woken up this morning with the world's worst killer hangover was an understatement. She had emerged from her bedroom wrapped in a blanket like a burrito with her stuffed bunny rabbit in hand.

Right now, I was pouring her some juice. "You sure you don't want some of my fries?" I offered. Ezekiel and I post-mated some McDonalds for lunch considering we all woke up too late for breakfast and no one had the energy to cook.

Leah lifted her head for two seconds, "I think I might throw up again if I eat anything." Oh yeah, she also spent the last half an hour puking her guts out in the bathroom. Gross. As if she didn't puke enough last night.

"Thank God you didn't vomit in the taxi. They would have charged you so much." Ezekiel commented from the living room. 27 Dresses was currently playing on the TV. Ezekiel and Leah had a shared favourite movie.

"That seems like the only highlight from my night." She muttered, placing her head back down on the counter.

I passed her the juice and finished munching on my mozzarella stick. "Cora messaged me to ask if you're still alive."

"Tell her barely."

I laughed. My phone began to ring, and my face lit up at the contact caller. Immediately pressing speaker, I answered, "You've reached the residence of an extremely hungover Leah Kingston. Please tell us your business so we can pass it on to her."

Sienna laughed, "Geez, that bad?"

"Let's hear it from the girl in question herself. Leah, any words?" I angled the phone closer to her.

"Just let me die." She moaned into the counter.

Sienna laughed again, "Hangovers suck girl, you'll get through it. I have to say though, taking seven tequila shots in a row is mighty impressive." I posted a picture on my private Instagram story showcasing Leah's hungover state. She didn't mind it and thought it was pretty funny.

"It would've been if she didn't throw them all up." Ezekiel called out from the couch.

"True." Sienna agreed. "Babe? What's the hangover drink you make? The one that works really well?" Sienna then called out.

"The one that works really well?" I heard Roman tease her on the other side of the phone.

"Morning, Roman." I greeted.

He chuckled, "Jesus, how much did you drink last night to be calling the afternoon the morning?" he had a point. However, I barely drank last night. I had... other things on my mind.

"I think you should be asking Leah that question." I joked.

"Leave me alone!" Leah grumbled.

"Yikes." Roman must be cringing right now. "Hang on, I'll send you the ingredients."

"Thanks." Because my God did Leah need it. "How have you guys been? How's the wedding planning coming along?"

"It keeps making me wonder why we're not eloping." Roman sighed.

"I want a wedding. You know, one that celebrates our love."

"I can celebrate my love for you every day, pretty-girl." Roman ever so smoothy shot back.

I rolled my eyes even thought it was adorable. "Can you save the PDA till after the phone call?"

"Sorry." Sienna apologised but I knew she was melting in Roman's arms right now. "Wedding planning is going well. We've got the location secured and a company willing to do the decorations. Invites are out thanks to Leah's amazing designs. The venue is willing to cater too but we need to do food tastings. Plus, the whole dress scenario still needs sorting out."
