"Y/n! You're- you're alive!" He quickly grabbed you, rubbing your back as he took deep breaths. His nose buried into your hair, he sniffled. It was too long since you last saw him. Was he still the same person? Were you?

Immediately feeling your eyes burn, you shook in a sob, trying to not cry in front of the kids. "...Lloyd.." you leaned into him, hugging him as best you could while still behind handcuffed.

"Oh my gosh- oh my gosh- oh my gosh!! Lloyd! The Green Ninja! I've met two Ninja today- how cooler could this day get?!" Arin fangirled from behind you.

Lloyd drew his sword up, slicing the mechanical part of the handcuffs in half. "Were you the one doing Spinjitzu? Why was it gold?"

Turning to the kids, you motioned to the one with curly hair. "Arin was doing the Spinjitzu.. I didn't really ask questions- kid was like a BayBlade."

Sora laughed, holding up her handcuffs for Lloyd. "You look like you're about to pass out Arin."

A guard leapt down, his energy sword lit up.

Lloyd raised his brow, smirking at you. Oh, he was definitely going to show off. Seemed he was the same goof if an idiot.

Swinging his sword, he ducked under the guy, using Spinjitzu to give him a boost in the air, sliding the guy into the wall. Actually pretty quick. But holy fuck you had forgotten how to do half of those moves.

And damn, you forgot how hot he was. Of course you knew he was hot, but you might've forgotten just how hot he was when fighting. Because DAMN. Okay.. maybe you should focus more..

"That is my mask, right?" He questioned, motioning to the dirt filled hood on the floor.

Arin stood up, holding it out to him. "I- I found it when you disappeared, right when the Merge happened. You rescued me and I-"

You glanced at it, watching as Lloyd scrunched his nose. "When was the last time you washed that? It looks like it's about to grow a garden."

"You can wash them?!" Oh. Had he gone 3 years without washing that? How had it not grown mold yet..?

Lloyd pursed his lips, slowly nodding. "Here, I'll give you a boost."

Scoffing, Arin pulled out a grappling hook. "No need!"

Sora rolled her eyes, stepping on the platform Lloyd had made with his hands. "Show off much?"

Studying your expression, Lloyd sighed. "Y/n, I-"

Pulling him in close for a quick kiss, you smiled. "We'll talk once we actually get out of here."

He nodded giving you a heart melting smile. Propping his hands, he gave you a small boost before jumping up himself. It felt like you both had never been separated in the first place. It was better than returning from the First Realm at least.

"What do we do now, Master Lloyd?" Arin yelled over the noise of the train. It took a lot of willpower to not start laughing.

Dusting off his sleeves, he scoffed. "I'm no master. I'm just Lloyd. And to answer your question, we jump."

Sora shook her head. "We can't leave the dragon."

"Forgot about that.." You admitted, rubbing the back of your neck. How long had you been out for?

Widening his eyes, Lloyd left his mouth ajar. "There's a dragon here too?"

"No one escapes from Rapton! No one!" Baldie waved his shiny, energy sword at the team.

Lloyd frowned. "What?! I can't hear you!"

"I SAID, NOBODY ESCAPES FROM RAPTON!"

"...WHAT?!?"

You snorted, drawing your sword from your hip. Why didn't they take that from you? "What are these villains all the same? Dramatic speech or fake monologue, and they always talk in 3rd person. Come on! Spice it up! Use 2nd person! Make me feel like I'm you! Is there a villain 101 class you go to? And honestly? I prefer the name Baldie. Like the hair? You know?"

"Y/n, be thoughtful, middle aged men are very insecure about the fact they have a hairline that's about go blow away in the wind. Be kind." Lloyd laughed back, giving your hand a quick squeeze. Oh how you missed him.

Sora let out an airy laugh. "Oh shit- we have company!"

The other end of the train had another group of soldiers walking towards your quartet.

Smirking, Arin pumped his fist (did he watch anime before the Merge? ..Did anime still exist after the Merge?). "I got this!" He leapt up, and spun himself a faint outline of a Spinjitzu tornado, hitting the guys off the side of the train.

"It... was him? On the bridge??" Lloyd watched in amazement. "Who'd he train under? You didn't teach him, did you?"

Groaning, Sora looked away from trying to get her powers to work. "Taught himself!"

With a hum of approval, Lloyd ducked under a blast. "Spinjitzu is the single most important Ninja technique. It took me years to learn it with an incredible teacher. That shouldn't be possible!"

"Didn't you learn it in under a month? And I learned it in a few days just from you and your dad. Seems like a perfectly possible timeframe, just weird he had no one to teach him." You snickered back, a tease lacing your words.

He groaned, smiling. "Dramatics Y/n! Dramatics!"

Swinging your sword against the one of a Claw, you fought beside Lloyd, listening to his banter.

"Buddy, I got zero idea who you are. But if you're locking up kids, my girlfriend, and apparently dragons, then you and I have some issues to work out." He sighed, pulling on his mask mid-fight.

Knocking the guy you were fighting off the edge, you managed to see Arin come back with the baby dragon.

And the baby dragon's eyes started glowing.. and then a beam of light shot out at Sora.. so her eyes started glowing, then the Imperium sword she was holding started glowing... This was so weird, but so cool.

The sword / gun / taser weapons started bugging out, a small ticking noise coming from Sora's.

"Um.. I- I think I made a bomb!" Oh! Wonderful! "Catch!" She shouted at Rapton, running to the end of the train beside you, Lloyd, and Arin.

Leaping off you rolled to the floor panting. When was the last time you had a fight like that? Holy fuck that was.. exhilarating.

Standing up, Lloyd tugged his tight-fitting mask off. "It shouldn't be possible to teach yourself Spinjitzu -and that was a really weird Spinjitzu tornado- but still Spinjitzu. And you, Sora, you definitely have an Elemental Power. It's not like any of the ones I've seen.. but.. maybe like some sort of.. Tech Power?"

The dragon brushed up against your hand, chirping. "And your power is somehow connected to the baby dragon? Any of your parents have powers? Or relatives? Grandparents?"

"Not that I know of.."

"Where'd he come from?" Lloyd questioned, only looking more and more confused, but you couldn't blame him.

Arin shrugged. "No idea. We found him while the Claws were hunting him. And some tiger guy threatened his whole family."

"Tiger guy?"

Patting his arm, you shook your head. "You need to get out of the Monastery more."

Sora rubbed her shoulder, watching the dragon run around. "We have to find his home, warn his heard... What..? Why are you stacking rocks? It's not play time."

Looking at the dragon, it had stood the rocks up on the sides, creating a wall.. or hills... Or mountains.

"I think I've seen that place before.." Lloyd mumbled, crouching down to get a different viewpoint. "I think it's time to head back home."
