tidal wave

Bre barely stepped out of the shower for a minute before Belly banged on the door to let her in.

"Belly I'm getting changed" Bre shouted as she brushed through her hair.

"I need to talk to you" She shouted, Bre slipped on the old t-shirt she'd found in the closet and an old pair of denim shorts before opening the door.

"The boys are talking" Belly said barging in and closing the door behind her.

"That's a good thing" Bre said hanging up the towel to dry and collecting all her things. She headed back to her room and Belly was close behind.

"Yeah but what if they don't work together," Belly said laying facedown on Bre's bed.

"Belly look at me" Belly turned over to look at Bre.

"They will, if there's one thing I know is that they both love this house and they didn't want to lose it" Bre said smiling.

"That looks good on you" Belly said looking at her older sister smirking.

"Oh thanks, it was just in the closet" Bre said looking down at her clothes, she realised that the top she had put on was one Conrad had given her but she didn't care. It was comfortable and that's all she cared about.

"No, I'm talking about your smile," Belly said laughing.

"Shut up, I've had a good morning,"  Bre said tying her hair back into a half up half down style. It was her usual since being at college.

"Yeah because you spent it with Conrad" Belly said winding her up.

Bre didn't say anything just gave her an evil stare.

"What did you and Jere get from the store?" Bre questioned, grabbing her laptop and heading downstairs with Belly following again.

"Oh, just the normal stuff, we went to see Aunt Julia too," Belly said, when they made it downstairs Jeremiah was already putting the groceries away.

"Morning Jere" Bre said pulling out a chair and sitting down.

"How was she?" Bre asked Belly.

"She wasn't too happy to see us," Belly said.

As Bre went to speak they heard a car pull up and they all looked at each other wondering who it was.

Jeremiah walked to the door first then Bre. Before noticing it was her car.

"It's Finley" Jeremiah said smiling. Bre took no time running out to him and hugging him.

"I missed you!" Bre said smiling, Finn was a bit caught off guard by her energy.

"Miss you too Bre" Finn said passing her the keys.

"Guess what?" Bre said jumping around and flapping her arms.

"You finally showered?" Finn said joking.

"Um that's rude, I did shower but I also slept through the night without anyone" Bre said finally standing still.

"No way, that's so good. It's the power of the summer house" Finn said with a big smile. Bre had always loved Finn's optimism. He was the one to hold her while she cried over Conrad and Susannah's death. And he was still with her now.
