The feeling of the sun setting was a feeling Bre loved. She loved the sea washing over her toes and feeling the air against her cheeks.

"Hey Steven, can you do me a favour?" Conrad asked noticing Bre still sitting in the sand.

"Yeah anything man" Steven said perking up at Conrad finally needing him. He'd felt out of place not speaking to either of the brothers.

"Can you go talk to Bre? She's been out there a while" Conrad said pointing out to her.

"Sure, you know if you could go talk to her" Steven joked, but seeing Conrad's eyes flicker he knew he didn't think it was his place anymore.

"I don't think she would want to talk to me," Conrad said.

Steven went over and sat next to Bre. She had her eyes closed and was taking deep breaths.

"When I'm at home and there's a good sunset I always think of you" Steven said looking at his sister.

Bre snapped her head, shocked that he had come out to sit with her.

"The sun reminds me of Susannah, well summer does. Being here isn't the same without her. It's like the magic has gone" Bre said, she looked at Steven knowing that they were never in an argument because they'd always be there for one another.

"I miss her so much" Steven said with tears running down his face. Bre put her arm around him and leaned her head on his shoulder.

"I wish we got one more summer with her" Bre said wiping her tears.

"I wish we got a hundred more" Steven said laughing. Bre and Steven had a bond which was different than their bond with Belly, it was very much no competition but they never felt the need to lie to each other. It was only recently they'd let their feelings and opinions get in the way.

"I hope she's proud of us," Bre said looking up at the sky, the sun bouncing off Bre's face felt like a breath of air.

"She is, there's one thing that Susannah was always proud of and it's her kids. There's nothing we could do that would make her ashamed of us" Steven smiled looking up at the sky.

"I've done some things which she'd been ashamed of," Bre said taking a deep breath.

"If you're talking about the funeral, you were grieving and going through a break of course you're gonna act like that," Steven said he was looking at his sister the same way he'd done many times before.

"I guess" Bre said looking back at the sea. A part of her self-consciously knew that she was being too hard on herself but the bad thoughts always outweighed the good.

"We are gonna have a movie tonight in Susannah's honour, did you want to join?" Steven asked.

"Course...I have the perfect movie," Bre said, they both headed inside talking about what they wanted to do when visiting each other at College next year.

"You're in my seat mister Jeremiah" Bre pointed at where Bre was sitting between Belly and Taylor.

"See told you," Jere said getting up and moving. Bre snuggled in next to Belly and Taylor. She always treated Taylor like a little sister so it was nice for her to come with Steven but she knew something else was at play there.
