tidal wave

The boardwalk was exactly as they all remembered it. It was full of people, the rides were the same and you could still see the ocean. The first stop was getting Ice Cream, which Bre was happy about. She'd fallen to the back of the group and wasn't listening to everyone arguing and talking about the house and Conrad and Finn making digs at each other.

"It's my treat everyone" Bre said pulling out her card, she honestly felt bad she'd been quiet but something was bugging her.

"You sure Bre?" Jere asked after finally hearing her talk.

"Yeah, it's all good" Bre said paying for the Ice creams. She looked over at Conrad who was already looking at her, her heart hurt slightly when she looked at him. She thought being here and seeing him would make her feel better and get over him but it just hurt more.

"See aren't you glad we came" Belly said nudging Bre, a smile spread across her face when she realised she was back at the boardwalk at Cousins with her family.

"You know Bells, I am. I loved coming here" Bre said eating her Ice Cream.

"It's fun, It's like we're children again," Belly said smiling. Jeremiah, Finn and Steven were all laughing at her being happy.

"I seem to remember the last time you were here Belly...you were crying" Conrad commented, which sent everyone into a laughing fit, but Finn and Skye didn't know what they were talking about.

"Conrad beat her at shoot your shot," Bre said keeping them in the loop.

"And her penalty was to ride the tower of terror" Jeremiah said laughing.

"Bre went on the ride with her because she felt bad" Conrad said looking at Bre, but when he turned around he saw Finn looking at her too and it pissed him off even more.

"She was so scared she threw up" Steven said laughing harder as they all remembered.

"I was sick okay," Belly said holding her hands up.

"Yeah sick with fear" Conrad said without a second thought.

"My Mom used to force my mom to come here when they were kids. She always hated it but Sussanah loved it so much, so..." Skye said looking around the place trying to picture my mom and aunt here.

"You know what else my mom loved? The Beach House. " Conrad questioned quickly changing the subject.

"My Moms not evil Conrad. And for the record your Mom wasn't a saint" Skye rolled their eyes looking around at everyone's faces turn sour at her last comment.

"Skye, have you ever played shoot your shot?" Belly asked wanting to change the subject and not ruin the day.

"No, and I'm good keeping it that way," Skye said bluntly.

"Well, do you want to watch me beat Conrad's ass?" Bre asked raising her eyebrows.

"You could not do that," He said smirking. Everyone else started laughing at the thought of watching them both battle it out in shoot your shot again.

"I wouldn't hate watching that" Skye smiled, one thing Skye liked about Bre and Belly was that they both included her which made her feel a part of their family.
