Y/n entered the room to see their dad (adopted) reading some plays with the rest of the children.
Y/n slowly walked towards Allison and sat down beside her only to be Five. So they were sitting on either sides.
"What are you doing here?", Five asked. "I w-want to learn too", Y/n said.
"You are only 6. What do you know about Homer? Can you even understand Greek language?", he asked as she slowly shook her head.
"Let her be Five", Allison said. "Silence!", Reginald's voice made them all quiet.
"What is so important to you both that you keep disrupting the reading session?", he asked. "I was just telling Y/n to leave", Five said.
"Y/n? What are you doing here?", Reginald asked.
All seven of them and Reginald were now looking at her making her extremely self conscious and nervous.
"Wanted to learn", she whispered. "Louder!", he commanded.
"I... w-wanted to l-learn", she stuttered out as her breath quickened. Allison seemed to notice her discomfort as Y/n ran out of the room.
"She was having a panic attack... Can I go check on her?", Allison asked.
"No need. Your mother is there to take care of her. Those of you who are done with the reading can leave. Others finish the page", he said.
"I am done", Five said. "Very well. You can leave, Number Five", Reginald said as Five stood up from his seat and picked up his book as he walked out.
Walking through the long corridor, he saw a small figure sitting on the floor, hugging her knees tightly and it didn't take him long to figure out who it was.
He walked to her as he heard her sobs. "Get up", he said as she stopped crying and lifted her head to see see his figure standing beside her.
