"Hey, someone did well today", Lila told Five as he had just entered the greenhouse with the catch of the day. "It was the snares you made... Exceptional", Five mumbled.
Days had passed and the tension between Five and Lila was decreased however still there and all that didn't go unnoticed by Y/n.
However, she tended to ignore it because the situation they were in, she didn't really want to blame the weird behaviors they all had. She thought Five would talk to him if its something necessary so she didn't initiate a conversation in that regard.
Five walked closer to Y/n, taking a seat beside her while she was completely engrossed in fixing the gramophone.
At least trying to... So much so that she didn't notice Five walk in or even look at him.
"What has gotten you so busy that you didn't even acknowledge me walking in, darling?", Five asked playfully as she didn't tear her gaze away from the gramophone even for a milli-second.
"I am working on fixing this thing... It's just so weird. I haven't heard a single sound of music in like... ages", Y/n said. "Why are you tiring yourself with this?", he asked.
"What do you mean?", she asked. "Lost cause", he said. "Hey! You stop giving up every now and then", Y/n shot back as he smiled again. "As you say so", he said.
"I have nothing better to do, Five", Y/n said. "Okay... Give it here. I can try and help", Five said.
"No wait, don't touch anything!... I am onto something", she exclaimed finally pulling away from the gramophone and holding onto the disc.
"Alright... Then I won't bother you further", he held his hand back observing her furrowed eyebrows and pouting lips as she was completely focused.
