The Farewell

"Hey Alex... Go to sleep buddy... It's almost 12... You are way up past your bed time, honey", Y/n caressed his face.
"Mommy! Put me to sleep please. And daddy stay here too", Alex said as Y/n nodded sitting down beside him on the bed on the right side and Five on his left.
"Daddy", Alex called his father. "Yeah", he said.
"Can you tell me the story of... how I was your favorite present in the whole wide world", Alex said.
"You have heard that story so many times, Alex... Do you never get tired of it?", Y/n asked caressing his hair as Five covered him up with a blanket, Eva snuggling into Y/n's abdomen.
"But no!... I never get bored of it... I want to hear it again!", he exclaimed.
"Okay calm down buddy... I will tell you the story", Five said sighing as he relaxed his back against the tiny space left on the bed rest.
"So long time ago... Mommy and I had been alone for so so long. And you remember when we went on that expedition to save the world?", Five asked.
"Yes! You were trying to discover the world and the you got lost for years and years and then you had to save the world from bad guys!", Alex added.
"Yup... So those years got tough for us. And then we wanted someone who would brighten up our lives... And then we got you. You were like a rainbow in our dull lives. Mommy and daddy even found a way back home just because of you", Five said making him giggle.
"I am a super hero since I was a baby!", he exclaimed. "That you are champ... You saved us", Five said. "So many times", Y/n caressed his cheek.
