Chapter 11

She was about to walk away when Diego held her arm. "Where are you going?", Diego asked. 

"To see Mom of course", Y/n said. "She isn't here... She is um... somewhere-", Luther was cut off. 

"We have put her in the medic room so that her system doesn't get further damaged. I will try my best fixing her, Miss Y/n", Pogo said as Y/n sighed looking at Diego who slowly let go off her arm. Diego saw her eyes fill up with tears but the moment was broken by Luther. 

"Wanna tell me what you're doing here?", Luther asked. "Looking for Five", Diego said. 

"Let me guess, you're gonna save the day", Luther said. "It's what I do. Asshole", Diego was about to walk out. 

"Really? Last I checked, you mopped floors", Luther said making Diego stop in his tracks. 

"And what do you do? Sit... on the moon for four years, waiting for orders?", Diego asked. 

"Boys. This won't help us find Five", Pogo said but they started arguing... again. As usual. 

"Is he just an animal to you, too now, Diego, huh?", Luther asked. "Don't-", Diego was cut off. 

"Stop it! Both of you", Y/n finally spoke up. 

"Those people broke in and tried to kill us... I l-lost mom... And I don't know where Five is gone. I can't loose Five. Alright... So you can fight... as much as you want... But stop it right now. Please", she said. 

"She is right... Take your nonsense elsewhere... Now", Pogo said."Sorry, Pogo... Sorry Y/n", Diego said. "Yeah, sorry, Pogo".

"Y/n... where are you taking us?", Diego asked. "Where I left Five... yesterday", Y/n said. 

"This is it... This is Five's van. It is still here", Luther said as they walked closer to the van. 

Luther tried opening it but it was locked. "Give me the keys", Luther said. 

"Why would I have the keys... Five was the one driving", Y/n said. "Shit", Luther sighed. 

Diego took out one of his tiny knives and knelt down in front of the door as he  started working on the lock and opened it in no time. 

Both of them tried getting side the van from the same door getting stuck in the process. 

"I am One!", Luther said trying to prove his position of going in first. 

"And a bit dumb too apparently", Y/n mumbled making Diego snicker a bit as he opened the bigger back door and they got inside and started looking through stuff. 

"Five didn't tell you where he was going?", Luther asked. 

"He always does but... thanks to your urgency of matter... I have no idea... I am just trying to guess", Y/n said. 

"Well... Guess now", Diego said. "I can't. I have no idea what he is up to right now", Y/n said. 

"I know where to find Five", Diego said holding out a book. 

"He wasn't planning on going to the library... He was stalking this guy... Oh my God! I think I know where he would be right now".

"Why can't he just keep us with us? He keeps racing ahead", Y/n said. 

"Yeah... He is trying to show his "Number One, head of the family" crap", Diego said as they kept walking. 

"D-diego", Y/n called him. "Yeah", he replied. 

"I remember what you told me last night but... um... I just wanted to know if you are okay... with m-mom...?", she asked as he stopped walking because he heard her voice quiver a bit. 

"Are you?", he asked. "No... Mom is... She is gone", Y/n said as tears formed in her eyes. 

"You have been controlling your crying since the morning now", he said. 

"Because no-one would u-understand me other than Five... and in this case... you", she said quickly wiping her tears away. 

"Y-you... you are going to be fine", Diego said somewhat softly. "Thank you Diego", she mumbled.

"Guys! Keep walking!", Luther said making them sigh. "He just doesn't know when to shut up", Diego said. 

"You are going the wrong way, Luther. Take a left", Y/n said as they finally reached the Meritech building only to see it burning in flames. 

"Y/n... Why did you bring us here?", Luther asked. 

"Can't you see, dumbass? The building is on fire... It must have something to do with Five and Y/n", Diego said. 

"He was looking for one of the people who work here... We needed to see the records and stuff again", Y/n said. 

"Why do you look so worried?", Luther asked. 

"Because... this was our last hope", Y/n said. "To what?", Diego asked. 

"To save the world".
