Push On Through

I sit in my car at the location waiting for Matthew, he is usually late. Scrap that. ALWAYS late! Fuck sake, where on earth is he? I stare out at the sea, I chose the beach for our photoshoot, will be good to have a moving background. It will make good practice for me as I need to learn to take good live photos, I am so used to still shots. Aside from the odd time that Tyler has let me tag along to his shows to get practice in I haven't taken photos of things moving before. But I have never been the main photographer for him or anyone before and I am worried I won't be good enough. I decide to get out of my car and lean on the hood as I wait for Matthews arrival. 

I hear the faint sound of a car in the distance. There's nobody else here at this spot, it's getting late after all so it will just be me and him. I can see it's Matthews care. Thank the lord! He's only 15 minutes late, and I as always was 10 minutes early! Safe to say I have been waiting a while, it's getting dark and I am getting cold. He parks his car, turns it off and gets out.

"Finally, was starting to think you were dead buddy" He starts to walk towards me. His red and brown hair is flapping in the wind, he's wearing a soft green jumper with his brown trousers. If he wasn't hella gay I would shoot my shot. I actually had a slight crush on him when I first met him many years ago, until I found out he liked guys, but now we get to look at them together so it's a win win. He has been by my side through everything, and has been my rock recently. If it wasn't for him I don't think I would still be here.

"Sorry, I was on the phone with Finn, time slipped away from me" He goes straight in for a hug, in which I need to go on my tip toes, the boy is over 6ft tall and I am short at 5"4. 

"Oooh Finn hey" I wink at him, but I'm not good at it so he just stares at me funny. 

"Shut up, he's a guy I met at a bar the other night, we hit it off" He goes all blushy.

"Ha yeah you did" I smirk at him. I don't want to risk winking again and embarrassing myself once more. "Right, shall we get on with these photos before we lose all light?" 

"Yes boss, where do you want me?" He puts his hand to his head like he is obeying a commander or something. I give him a side eye as I reach in my bag to pull my camera out.

I point over to a sandy area of the beach "Somewhere over there I guess" And with that we both walk down onto the sand.

It's a little later on now, we finished taking photos, I think I got some very good ones, not to toot my own horn or anything. We are now sat on the wall near our cars, sharing some chips we got from the fish n chip shop a little way down the road to where we were shooting the photos. I stare out at the sea and turn to Matthew.

"So an update on the tour, Tyler said that they are supporting none other than, drum roll please" Matthew bangs on his thighs as make shift drums "Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco!!!" I can't contain my excitement. His jaw drops as he lifts a finger.

"Hold up, you are going to meet THE Brendon Urie? I am so jealous" He puts his hand over his chest and acts all shocked. I nod my head up and down. "Holy shit that's amazing!!" 

"I only found out two days ago, and I am freaking the fuck out!! They've been my idols for so many years" I have dreamt of the day where I get to meet them all, I have read so many fanfictions about both bands and I cannot believe I actually get to meet them soon. It doesn't feel real. I didn't even know that Tyler knew them, but I was wrong.

"Oh girl, you are so bloody lucky, I am so happy for you!" He leans in to hugs me tightly, rocking me from side to side. He lets go just before we nearly knock our chips off the wall. That would be tragic! 

"I know, it will be so weird. I can't wait but I am also so freaking scared" I look down at my lap. 

"Is it because of what happened with he who shall not be named" Matthew asks.

"He's not fucking Voldemort, you don't have to say it like that!" I chuckle. "But kinda, I am also going to meet my idols so that will be scary at first" 

"I am jealous, you get to see Brendon and Pete in the flesh. You have got to keep me updated!!" 

"Of course, I will call you as often as I can" We go back to eating our chips and looking out at the waves crashing against the shore. I love living so close to the beach, it's only 30 minutes from my house. I just don't come here often enough to enjoy it. 

We finish our chips, Matthew takes the wrapper to the bin and I hop down from the wall. We walk back to our cars together, talking more about the upcoming tour. I wave at him as he drives off back home. I get into my car and turn it on when I get a call from a blocked number. I of course ignore it, having a slight feeling I know who it is from. I turn on my music to drown out the sound of my mind racing. Lucky for me I get to listen to the new Green Day album that just dropped. I love those guys. Now meeting them would be a fever dream. I start to drive myself home.

I walk through the door to my room, closing it, I drop my bag down on the bed and find my camera. I walk over to my desk where my laptop is and plug my camera in. I start transferring my photos across from the day. As my laptop does it's thing I check on my blogs comments. I have gotten some more nasty one's today which I would usually ignore, but one stands out to me. 

You will never be like your brother

What is that supposed to mean anyway? And how on earth did they find out who my brother is? Like yeah my last name is on here but that could be anyone. Tyler has never posted me on any of his social media, I have been a kid up until this point so it would have been weird. So how do people know who I am? Is it a guess? No clue. I mean it wouldn't be a bad thing if people knew I was Tyler's sister right? I will have to ask if it would be okay to make people aware I exist. Tyler said something about me him and Josh going for dinner the day before tour starts so I will ask them both then if that would be alright. 

I gotta start packing for tour, we leave in 5 days and I haven't even started, I haven't made a list of what to bring or anything. We are going for 2 months overall, going round the US. I haven't left my home town much so I am very ready to get out and see more of the country. My photos are done transferring, now I need to go through them all. Probably what I will be doing till I pass out.
