-Patrick's P.O.V-
I walk with Ruby back to the hotel rooms. I can't believe what she just told me actually happened to her, and she kept it all hidden. The poor girl. I thought things were already bad enough with her mental health, but this is way worse than what I thought she would tell me. I just want to protect her from the world. I know she wouldn't let me do that but I wish she would. The poor girls been through enough without anything else happening.

We arrive back at Ruby's room, I turn to face her and swallow her in a hug, holding her tight. I pull away from her, smiling at her as she gets her key card out her pocket. I wave goodbye to her, she waves back at me, giving me a small smile as she opens the door and disappears inside. I start walking down the hall to my room, using my key to unlock the door, I'm greeted by Pete.

"Where have you been man? I was worried" Pete has his hands on his hips.

"Sorry I was out having coffee with Ruby, I should have messaged you, but I thought you would still be asleep" I chuckle at that last bit. Pete never wakes up early, but I realise it's not exactly early anymore, it's after 10am now, which is Pete's usual wake up time. He's a night owl and hates mornings.

"Is everything okay with her?" He relaxes his arms, sitting down on the edge of his bed. I take my shoes off, putting them by the door.

"She isn't great, but she has been confiding in me, trusting me with her past. I'm trying my best" I walk over to my bed and sit down, making myself comfortable.

"I'm glad she has you, but shouldn't she be talking with her brother or Josh?" He cocks his brow.

"I promised them that if I felt she was at risk to herself I would tell them, right now she's not a risk. She's been through so much shit, but she's so strong" I am a bit worried I will admit. She said some heavy stuff. Even though she had those blips, she is strong, she can get through this. I pull my phone out, sending a text to Tyler just to let him know she's okay at the moment.

To Tyler: Hey man, spoke to Ruby, she opened up to me about what happened, please don't try and get it out of her. Just be there for her until she's ready. I'll keep an eye on her too.

"I just don't think this is right Trick. You don't know her sh-"

"Pete, she came to me, I didn't shake it out of her. And if she's comfortable talking to me rather than Josh and Tyler right now then I'm okay being her support. Sometimes it's easier to talk to strangers, and I would rather that than for her to bottle it up, letting it eat her up" Pete nods his head, looking a little annoyed I cut him off. He'll get over it, he's a big boy.

From Tyler: Thanks man, I appreciate it. When tours over you're more than welcome to come hang out with us all. I'm sure Ruby will like that :)

To Patrick: Thanks man, I appreciate it. When tours over you're more than welcome to come hang out with us all. I'm sure Ruby will like that :)

"Josh stop acting like a sore loser. You lost, deal with it" Ruby and Josh are playing  Mario Kart on her switch. She seems normal at the moment, I'm glad she didn't come back crying or upset. Patrick seems to be really helping her, which I am so grateful for. Maybe this tour is exactly what we all needed.

"How did you beat me again?" Josh asks, pouting. Ruby throws her hands up in a 'I don't know' way.

"I have had lots of practice my guy" Ruby laughs, nudging Josh, he doesn't look impressed.

I tucked myself away in the corner of the room on my phone. I'm trying to go through some emails and get my head around some things. I'm really worried about Ruby. I know that Patrick made it clear that she will talk when she's ready but I feel what went on was heavy for her. She's trying to forget something. I can tell. I mean she never used to have an interest in going out drinking, then she goes out last night with the others, I heard them come in, I stayed awake worried. Josh sounded completely out of it and Ruby sounded like she had some drinks too. It's like she wants to block the world out. I hear someone snapping their fingers, I look up from my phone to see Josh trying to get my attention.
