This would be the last thing Heatwave would ever speak about.
____________________________________________________________________________________________"I was unaware you were trying to save electricity in a building like this." Boulder goes to turn on the lights, slightly confused.
He went to drop off something to Heatwave's office, but as he entered, he found the lights completely off as the bot sat within the room. It seemed to make no sense to him, especially because it was not normal, so he did turn on the lights, making the red bot flinch.
"Why is your visor down?" Heatwave makes the choice to remove the visor over his optics, which Boulder can really see as to what is up. "Oh, I guess you had a good time yesterday?"
"I look extremely wasted, Don't I?" He really did, honestly, it was shocking to even see him in his office because he definitely looked like he took a couple cubes too many of High Grade. "I haven't bothered trying to see my own reflection because I look so bad."
"It looks worse without your contacts in." Heatwave gave a glare, Boulder putting his servos up in defense. "Sorry, not helping. I thought you said it was a little meet-up."
"And that is what I thought it was but it was to trick me to find out." Heatwave slowly found himself standing up, but surely was still dealing with the side effects of his last-night's choices. "Hightide planned a nice little get together with some bots he knows that were alive and honestly, I am so thankful he doesn't drink High Grade."
"A get together doesn't sound so bad." Boulder doesn't understand what could've gone wrong with something like that.
"It was fine at first, I met some bots I have never heard of and met up with those I know." Heatwave explains. "It only got bad when I decided to try and forget myself from seeing Optimus Prime when he had had too much to drink."
"What?" Boulder is confused but turns as Heatwave slowly walks towards one of the shelves.
"He was telling very bad dad jokes and laughed his aft off constantly." It was a disturbing memory but Heatwave really tried to wipe it out of his head. "According to Hightide, my attempts to forget it made me so 'drunk' that not only could I not walk but I was laughing at the terrible jokes."
"Yeah that sounds like a nightmare." Boulder is very glad he was not there. "Anything you want me to do?"
"Do you have that stuff-you know-the stuff-" Heatwave watches how Boulder just pulls it out like he had it all this time. "You had this all along, and you didn't bother to give it to me?!"
"Well, at first it didn't look like you were drinking but rather that infection humans get called Pink Eye."
"I look that bad?" Heatwave was really debating to find some sort of reflective surface now.
"If these don't work, then you might want to get checked out." Boulder hands it over, not really too happy with how this is going.
Something shoots through the door and directly out the window, breaking such glass that had just been replaced. Both bots look to the doorway, Heatwave making sure to put down his visor, and they find Hoist standing there.
"I was only following it." He states, explaining himself. "I still need to make improvements, sorry if I interrupted something."
"I think I need to go home." Heatwave slowly walks out, Hoist slightly confused as Boulder just lets the bot leave.
