The only reason it is taking me forever to post on this is because the episodes aren't coming out that fast and also with what other things I have to do.

Medix has no relation to Ratchet, Ratchet just knew so many bots so well that it was like a no-blood sibling relationship. so, some who he knew were indeed Medix's creators and just became his uncle.
Heatwave and Blades find it weird though, after all, it technically made no sense. Heatwave is technically related to Ratchet through adoption, but the same couldn't be said with Medix, which has led to a couple of arguments during the school hours.
No one had originally tried to stop these arguments, but it had gotten to a point in which no one could take it anymore. Chase managed to find a FFUA that was similar to what they all kept arguing about, and then proceeded to send it to those three hoping it would make them shut up about it.
It did end up keeping them quiet for some time, but Chase just keeps telling them that if they start up again, he will send it out again. but does this stop them from still bickering about it? nope, it doesn't.
