Hello Enigma

Chapter 11: Time to Take things Serious

Enigma: "Well I do know one thing. When I am finished with this town, no one will be safe. Things will finally become the way how they should be and I will have a more competent set of people putting things into order."

As the van door closes, we see a small person standing near a window watching the Enigma drive off to begin another venture at the town.

Enigma: "Ok, the townsfolk don't know about the recent raids I did on the park yet. I'm sure the police are most likely bugging Mr. Peterson, thinking he was stealing again. But I do know there was a that girl staring at me during one of my previous daylight raids. Well, I do know this. If she tries to snitch on me the EarthPro company will only take her word as pure fiction."

The cloaked man chuckles at his remark. But he knew that at some point, she needed to find the person who'd seen him steal those supplies. Whether the people believed her or not he did sensed something about her that she did not like. And he would soon learn the reason the hard way.

Enigma: "I don't know why, but there's just something about that woman that I just do not like. Either way, she will become my next victim soon if she tries to cross my path and spoil things for me."

We are taken to the Raven brooks news station where we see Quentin and Beatrix were discussing some things about the Golden Apple security job.

Beatrix: "I do know one thing. Even if I do a good job he's still going to find something to complain about since whoever is causing all these crimes managed to make away with the companies security supplies."

The frustrated woman proceeds to drink some coffee and continued with her argument. She proceeds to talk about the disaster the other day, the problems her friends went through.

Quentin: "The cops like to close a case and move on to the next one and if a killer tells them "I killed them all" they believe it, no further questions asked. We got a confession, case closed!! That right there is dangerous and risky. Sigh, it's very frustrating indeed."

The two let out another sigh and they began to take another sip of coffee.

Beatrix: "I just know that even if the place was heavily secured the criminals would still manage to break in."

Quentin: "And the supplies. EarthPro has planted all sorts of supplies sent to the grounds and have poured in most of their finances into all of that protection."

Beatrix: "But still, no matter how many times they keep securing the place, people like the Guest, the Vandals, and the Enigma always break in."

Quentin: "Who?"

Beatrix: "The masked guy who delivers all that food to those people. I've also caught the dude breaking in at night with Dale Tapps and Gordon Cleave. Looked like they were arguing too." 

This information right there made Quentin very intrigued. Yes, he did have his own problems with the Guest, and was learning what he can about the Forest Protector too, but this news about another enemy was something he needed to learn more about. The town was slowly making enemies and he needed to see if this Enigma was a part of those enemies.

Back with Maritza, she and Finch were with Delroy and Trinity. Turns out Delroy was fond of the idea of Raven Brooks having its social justice club and wanted to have some part in reshaping the town into order.

Delroy: "So what exactly is the name of this club of your Trin?"

Trinity: "Creating Responsibly Outsourced Work or C.R.O.W for short."

Delroy winced a little from the mention of the word crow. A long time ago Norman Darby shared something interesting about crows being connected with the ravens, to this day he would get disturbed by certain things associated with the birds of this town. However corrupt needed to be stopped and order was in need to be made. Many of the people had suffered long enough from the flaws and faults that the town were very much responsible for fixing. Even Brenda Yi was still trying to do what she could for the justice of her daughter Lucy.
