Maritza: "*Yawn* well, another day anther moment of adventure."

After shaking off the tiredness I walk straight to the bathroom to prepare myself for the day. I must say, these nightshifts can take a toll on the body, but the pay is definitely all worth it.

Jess: "Sandwiches for breakfast?"

Maritza: "I like sandwiches ok."

Jess: "Yeah, my uncle did mentioned that."

I'll tell you this, ever since my brother Enzo and my sister-in-law Trinity went missing, I've been doing what I can to raise both Jess and Jordy as my own. Well Jordy is pretty much raising himself at the moment and is keeping things well managed at his father's shop. However I still check up on him to make sure everything's alright.

Jess: "So, what's your plan for today aunt Mari?"

Maritza: "Eh, the usual, take in some of the sights in Raven Brooks, get some rest, and start the next nightshift. The same ole same ole."

Once I take another bit out of my sandwich I ask Jess what her plans were for the day. Her agenda was exploring the town, visit her brother Jordy, and hung out with her friends and do...well do...actually...huh...what exactly do kids do these days? I mean, I have heard my father asked that question before and some of my friend's other parents ask the same thing and let me just say that my friends and I weren't like most kids since we were the investigative type. Sorta the Scooby Doo mystery gang type and all.

Jess: "I wonder if Piper and Delia are available today? Those two seem to be having a few struggles trying to understand this town and its ways

Jess: "I wonder if Piper and Delia are available today? Those two seem to be having a few struggles trying to understand this town and its ways."

Maritza: "Well I can't blame them, Raven Brooks is one of those towns where people have many secrets to hide and hosts plenty newcomers who have their own history to bring into the town."

Jess: "A little ominous right there. but from some of the stories you, Mom, and Dad have shared with me, I'm sure there have been way more stuff like that."

Maritza: "Hehe you are right. And the thing is as you start to grow up in this town, you'll discover and experience plenty of mysteries that you could imagine ever facing."

Piper and Delia Tillman are two new kids who'd just moved into this town and I must say, unlike their deceased great cousin Marcia Tillman, who was not much of a good person in my opinion, these two are some nice, decent kids. Kind of just like Trinity and me when we were young.

Jess: "A pity you no longer do that anymore."

Maritza: "Who says I retired from all that adventuring? Besides, trouble always follows me wherever I go."

Jess: "Well you are older than you were back then and you work as a security guard so."
