When kidnappings become more frequent in Raven Brooks, Maritza Esposito has her time to shine on this investigation. Only she discovers some things that will stay in her memory for the rest of her life.
Things still haven't calmed down in Rave Brooks and the Golden Apple was still getting the worst end of the stick. The Vandals, the Guest, the Enigma, and Mr. Peterson were hard at work tearing apart the park and stripping the place for parts. Beatrix was able to chase out the intruders with success whenever it was her turn to watch over the place. But she hardly ever sees the Enigma enter this territory. It was just weird enemies for her and it was also strange that the cloaked man was able to avoid her, making it clear that he had no quarrel with her. As Beatrix was patrolling the park as usual, she heard some noise at the carousel. She runs to the area and flashes her light around to place, trying to ward off any possible intruders around there, only to encounter two girls.
Beatrix: "Hey, what are you two doing here?"

At first the two were scarred stiff, but when they notice Beatrix's calm and easygoing demeanor, they realize she wasn't a threat to them, the black haired girl walks up and explains everything.
???: "I'm Jodi and this is my friend Macy. We did mean to enter the area or anything, but you see we are looking for something."
Beatrix: "Oh, what is it?"
Macy: "We lost some of the school posters and we've been trying to look for them when they were blown over at this park. After several minutes of looking around the place we manage to find it."
Jodi then holds up the posters which read School Bake Fair coming soon. But there was more to their explanation on why they were at the park.
Jodi: "After we had found the posters we got lost and we were trying to find a way out. But then we noticed a stranger in a weird mask lurking about the place and he did not look so friendly. So the both of us have been doing what we can to escape while avoiding that man."
Macy: "Not only that but there was this weirdo in a giant bird costume lurking around to and it was not so friendly either."
This sets alarm bells in Beatrix's mind. It was clear that the Guest and the Enigma were at it again. While she didn't have much proof that the Enigma was a criminal and was responsible for the recent kidnappings in this town, she knew that the Guest was an aggressive being and was prone to violence.
Beatrix: "Come with me you two. I'll guide you out of here."
Macy: "Thank you very much miss...uh."
Beatrix: "Beatrix. My name's Beatrix."
As Beatrix guides the two out of the park, things were looking pretty peaceful around the park than usual. She then begins to start a conversation with the two intruders.
Beatrix: "So, this bake sale going on. What exactly will there be?"
Macy: "Well, it's the usual, pies, cakes, and some cookies."
Jodi: "Yeah, the local town baker Gerda will also be there to supply some of her baking too."
Beatrix: "Hey I know her, she and I are good friends."
