"eh, you got a new show?!" i almost spat my chocolate shake out when i heard taiki's announcement.

he called me earlier, inviting me out to eat a popular cafe in harajuku. i initially planned to reject his offer but he said that he will pay for me.

when i told my parents about it, they seemed to be thrilled with the idea that i am hanging out with taiki a lot more than before. i think my parents like taiki, guys.

"of course! i am still the most sought actor of lala lie after all" taiki replied with a cocky smirk. i looked at him with a deadpanned expression before rolling my eyes.

"what show are you leading in?" i asked, taking another bite out of the nutella crepe that he brought for me.

"hm, i think it was 'tokyo blade'? i got casted as the main character" he replied, biting on his spoon.

as much as i wanted to say that i understand tokyo blade, i didn't understand the whole plot of that manga. i understand that blade wants to be the king of japan (very naruto-esque if i would say so myself) and along the way he met tsurugi and kizami.

the play that aqu-cchi and others will perform is the shinjuku conflict arc where the shinjuku faction (blade, tsurugi, and kizami) will fight against the shibuya faction (touki, monme, and sayahime).

in true manga fashion, shinjuku wins that will cause the death of sayahime yada yada.

i sighed before taking a small sip out of my chocolate shake. "good luck for your play, i hope i could watch it too just like before"

"yeah, it's pity that i am not able to see you during the last performance of my previous show. did you like it?" taiki asked as he removed his glasses to wipe them with his shirt.

"shouldn't you use microfiber cloth to clean those.." i mumbled before shaking my head.

"yeah, i enjoyed it. matter of fact, my little brothers also enjoyed it." i replied, smiling fondly.

"eh? ayato, ryu, and shu saw it?!" he exclaimed, seemingly ready to brag again. if you're curious why he knew my brothers, they met him when he was intruding our restaurant one time.

"yeah, you gave me four tickets before so i gave the other three to them. ayato was amazed with the theater set up while the twin really like watching you..."

"...are you crying?" i looked at him, already done with his bullshit.

"i feel like a proud father because my little sons are praising me" he cried, wiping his fake ass tears with his shirt.

'bro is not our father!?'

"you're being dramatic taiki" i rolled my eyes before taking another bite from my crepe.

"you're like my grumpy wife or something" he quietly mumbled as if it didn't reached my ears already, causing me to roll a piece of the magazine and hit him slightly in the back.

"shut your trap, himekawa"

'i would be your wife if i'm the same age as you huhu' i mentally cried as a joke. taiki started to proclaim that my little brothers are his sons after spending time with them playing.

the joke that i am his wife came from an offhanded comment from ayato when i was busy controlling taiki and the other boys.

"onee-chan, are you taiki-nii's wife or something because you're scolding him like how mom scold dad"

i will strangle my brother (with love) if it wasn't a crime or if i don't love them.

"alright, alright, you're still the grumpy koneko-chan that i met on the alleyway before" taiki commented before laughing. he just stopped when he saw me raising the rolled magazine again.
