the day has finally come.
today is the first premier of the tokyo blade play.
i was holding a copy of the play bill for the play that showcase taiki in the front page. i walked inside of the theater and sat on the back seat that taiki reserved for me.
i placed my bag down on my chair before sitting down, placing the playbill on my lap.
as soon as i sat down and watch people enter and gather on the seats of the theater, i was able to spot some familiar faces on the crowd.
for instance, i saw ruby-chan and miyako-san at the back, the whole love now cast seating near them.
i was placed on the second row seat, a place that was just enough for me to see the entire stage.
"ah, prodigy's friend?" i looked behind me when i heard someone speak.
"g..gotanda-san?" i asked, smiling weakly as i was able to see the older man behind me.
"did aqua invited you too?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. i laugh sheepishly and shook my head.
"funny how you mention thay but...aqu-cchi isn't the one who invited me. i have other friends you know..." i mumbled, almost sounding offended by the implication that the older man was saying.
"you're putting words on my mouth prodigy" he let out a chuckle, causing me to secretly roll my eyes at him.
a question popped out of my head as i remembered something. i turned my head to him before opening my mouth.
"ne, gotanda-san..." i started, looking to the side and hesitantly speaking. "...did...did aqu-cchi and akane-san really spent most of their afternoon at your house?"
fuck, am i this desperate for assurance? maybe yes, maybe no, who the fuck knows.
"...oh" gotanda-san looked at me before he scratched his chin. "yeah, the two insisted that i helped them with their skills so they've been loitering around my studio."
"just training, and nothing else...right?" i asked with a wide eyed look. he just shrugged and nodded.
"keep your jealousy at bay, female prodigy, they're only training" my cheeks reddened as i turned away, crossing my arms.
"i'm not jealous, you're hearing and seeing things that people don't see, gotanda-san"
"yeah, yeah, whatever kid." he patted my shoulders before moving his attention somewhere.
i huffed a little and just decided to pay attention to my surrounding. i have already went in this theater because of taiki's previous play.
i really like their utilization of modern technology to bring each scenes to life and also let the viewers experience the things happening on those scenes.
the only downside for me was the super cold air conditioner that they use here. i had to wear a sweater to survive in here.
"eh, aishi-chan?"
i lifted my head when someone called my name. my eyes brightened when i was able to recognize three out of the six people standing near me.
"raida-san? abiko-sensei? goa-san?" i exclaimed standing up and bowing a little.
"uwah, mirai-chan, long time no see..!" abiko-sensei exclaimed, holding my hand as her eyes shined brightly again.
'ah—, she still calls me mirai..'
