"... aqu-cchi?"

our eyes met once i turned my head towards him. his grip on my wrist tightened as he gave me a serious expression.

"let's talk outside." he replied, pulling me away from everyone.

"w..wait...uh...ah...aqu-cchi..?" i stammered as i looked around for help but they all seemed stunned by what aqua have done that we managed to leave the dressing room in peace.

he continued to pull me away until we stopped outside a random room.

"ow ow, aqu-cchi... why did.." i was about ask him about his problem when i noticed the dark look in his face.

i stopped talking and decided to walk closed to him, looking at him with a concerned expression.

"aqu-cchi, what's wrong?" i asked quietly, placing my hand on his hand, lifting it up.

my actions seemingly woke him up from his angry daze, looking up and sighing.

"aishi, you should avoid men like kamoshida." he muttered, giving me a serious look before he continued.

"actors like him love to prey on innocent girls to date and play with." his gaze sharpened, making me gulp. "i suggest you to not say yes to his proposal"

"...aqu-cchi, are you... getting the wrong signal?" i asked silently, my lips twitching into a smile after seeing your overprotectiveness.

"i'm not interested with kamoshida-san, like at all" i continued, stifling a small giggle.

"...huh?" seeing his confusion, my giggle turn into a loud laughter. i was covering my blushing face with the last buoquet on my hand as i continued to laugh.

"do you honestly think that i would say yes to his proposal? i can't believe that you had so little trust with me, aqu-cchi..!" i exclaimed between laughter.

i almost double down because of how my tummy hurt from laughing so much. he just stood there with an unimpressed expression as he waited for me to stop laughing.

after a minute or so, i finally had the chance to catch my breath, leaning on to the wall as i tried to suppress the remaining laughter threatening to escape my lips.

"are you done?" aqua asked with an emotionless tone.

"eep—!" i exclaimed in surprise before standing up straight. "of course i'm done, aqu-cchi, he he."

"... you're still laughing, aishi" he pointed out with a deadpanned expression, causing me to giggle.

"i'm sorry aqu-cchi, but...but...i just can't help it haha" i replied, covering my lips to stop myself from giggling.

"i know that kamoshida-san is handsome but i have a crush on a whole different actor--" my eyes widened as i realized what i was about to say.

"i mean, i mean—!" i exclaimed, ignoring how your face changed expression as i was busy panicking.

after a while, i just gave up with a reddened face and shy expression. "please ignore what i've just said..."

aqua looked at me, squinting his eyes and sighed. "...sure, i will ignore it for now."

my face brightened so much that i went up to hum and engulfed him into a tight hug.

"thank you, thank you aqu-cchi!"
