I Need You (Five Hargreeves x Reader) Number Five

Chapter 72

Y/n nodded at her encouraging as Lila let her silent tears fall. While Five looked at Y/n as her legs finally went weak making her fall to the ground, Five instantly kneeling down beside her. 

"Breathe, love", he whispered. "I... I don't want to die, Five... Not right now. Not like this", she whispered. 

"Nothing is going to happen to you, Y/n. We are getting out of here. Does it hurt anywhere else?", he asked as she shook her head. 

"Just... I feel dizzy", she mumbled as she looked back at Lila and Diego. 

Just as Lila was about to give in, everything flipped in a matter of just a few seconds. In just a few seconds, the Handler entered the warehouse and in just a few seconds, she shot everyone leaving them down on the ground... dead. 

Lila looked around shocked at her "mother's" actions. She knelt down beside Diego and placed her hand on his arm trying to wake him up. 

"Diego, no...", she sniffled. "Aww", the Handler awed at her sarcastically. 

"It's true, what Five said, isn't it? Y/n was right. Diego", Lila said. 

"Darling, I need to know that we can get past this, be a happy family again. Hmm?", the Handler asked still holding the machine gun tightly. 

"You were going to make me kill Y/n? For what?! You... You killed her, just like that. She was pregnant for God's sake!", Lila yelled. "You don't need to worry about her, sugar", she said. 

"They're my real family... Do you even love me?", she asked earning nothing but silence. 

She tired attacking the Handler with a gun but she shot right through her abdomen making her drop on the ground dead. 

"Que será, será", the Handler commented as her eyes fell on the rest of the family. 

Five opened his eyes with a gasp breathing heavy... Struggling to breathe actually. He saw Y/n's hand holding grasping onto his tightly for dear life. Her clothes were slowly filling up with blood especially near her chest and torso. 

"No", he mumbled as he couldn't figure if she was breathing or not. He saw her eyes open slightly as she looked at him weakly. 

"Five", her hoarse voice slowly called his name. "I am sorry", he whispered.

"Oh, good. You both are still alive. Lucky you. You got to see how this all played out. I gotta say... Such an amazing death you both have. A happy family. Going together. Do you think you will be in a peaceful heaven... Or with all the things you did.... that seems hard, doesn't it? You piece of shit", she said as Y/n choked a bit. 

Just as she was about to shoot them, loud gunshots rang behind them only to the the one of the "Evil Blonde Triplets" had finally killed her. His eyes then fell on Five and Y/n as they were still alive.
