"Did she even hear what I said?" Belly said rolling her eyes. They all continued arguing about the house and what to do.
"I'm not doing it," Conrad said crossing his arms. A distraught Finn came running out of the house.
"Has anyone seen Bre?" he asked the group.
"Yeah she went that way" Jere said not noticing his expression.
"What did you do?" Conrad asked suddenly adding the dots together.
"I told her," Finn said gulping. It was the one thing Conrad had told him to keep a secret. He knew it would break her.
"What did you tell her?" Belly asked confused about what had happened to everyone.
Conrad didn't even say anything but headed towards the beach too. A million thoughts raced through his head but he knew Bre.
The beach was empty. No sign of Bre at all. He went to turn around to leave until he saw a figure in the ocean. Nothing could've stopped him from running over to her. He stood watching her for a moment, she had an empty bottle of vodka in her hand and she was talking to herself.
"Bre! Come back to the party" Conrad shouted. He was hurting inside seeing her like this.
"No! You can go back, I'm allll good here" Bre said walking further into the ocean.
"I'm not dragging your dead body out of there," Conrad said bluntly.
"Leave me alone," Bre said humming to herself.
"Come out of the water Bre" Conrad said again.
"Leave me ALONE" Bre shouted.
"I can't" Conrad said rolling his eyes before walking into the ocean and putting her over his shoulder.
"CONRAD PUT ME DOWN" Bre shouted kicking her feet.
"You're drunk Bre" Conrad muttered.
"Let go," Bre said kicking.
"There you go saved your life" Conrad said putting her on the floor. He hurt the way she was currently.
"Let me help you up, okay?" Conrad said putting his hand out for her. But instead, she swatted it away.
"Just go" Bre sighed. Her head was thinking too much.
"I'm not leaving you," Conrad said.
"But you already did, or was that what you wanted me to believe?" Bre questioned.
"Bre come on," Conrad said, he was hurt just as much as she was but he didn't want her to see that.
"No, why didn't you tell me you came back? I thought you left me" Bre questioned.
Conrad shrugged not wanting to tell the truth.
"Why? Why" Bre shouted getting in his face sort of.
"I don't know" Conrad yelled back.
Bre sighed looking at him. She loved him, more than anyone. But she was hurt, more than she'd ever led on.
"If I'd had known, that you came back. I would've, been there for you. I would've fought for us" Bre said taking his hand. It hurt when she dropped his hand as soon as she took it.
"What do you mean? What do you mean?" Conrad questioned taking her hand again.
"I would've fought for you, for us, at the Ball and the funeral. I would've been there through everything" Bre said crying.
"I thought you knew...I thought you knew" Conrad admitted, he sounded desperate but they both did. Desperately in love with each other.
"From the moment we kissed on the beach, I thought you knew," Conrad said repeating himself.
"I thought we loved each other," Bre said crying.
"We do, I do," Conrad said with tears in his eyes.
"Not enough" Bre said wiping her tears. She dropped his hand before storming back inside. She didn't even get inside the house before she saw the mess through the house. A window was smashed and someone had graffitied the hallway.
She looked around and saw how much mess she'd created in her. And without thinking she phoned the one person she needed at that moment. Laurel.
She was saying random things to her phone before she rolled out a blanket and piled up her dirty clothes for a makeshift pillow. A tear fell on her face slowly.
"I need you Mom" She whispered into the phone before she passed out.
