To the Moon and Back?{Sting x Reader}

"Hey! Stop picking on him!" You yelled as you chased a group of kids away from what looked like a helpless cat. This maroon kitty was holding back tears, or at least trying his best. A few managed to slip on to his furry little face. "Are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah, I'm f-fine." The maroon cat sniffed, while your own cat, Luna, helped him up from the ground. "T-Thanks."

"What's wrong? What did they do to you? Did they hurt you?" You asked, kneeling down to his height.

"Th-They didn't believe m-me!" He was hiccuping back tears, thinking about what had happened.

"About what?"

"That my b-best friend was raised by a dr-dragon!"

"Well, I believe you."

"You do?"

"Sure I do! I was raised by a dragon too!"

"Really!?"

"Mhm!" You smiled happily. "I didn't know there were other dragon slayers out there."

"Yeah! My Buddy Sting is a dragon slayer! He's super strong, and I'll be strong like him one day!"

"Of course you will." You smiled, patting the top of his head.

"You should come with me to meet him! He'd love to meet another dragon slayer!"

"Oh, are you sure? I don't know..."

"Please? You can come with me and tell him what had happened earlier... I know he'll ask why I was crying."

"Mmm... What do you think, Luna?"

"I think we have the time." She smiled a bit. "We have forever to do what we want. We can stop and help out for a minute."

"Mhm!" You smiled at Luna, and then looked to the maroon cat. "Sure, we'll go with you to meet your friend!"

"Really!? Yes! Let's go!" The maroon cat smiled, and hopped up to his feet, leading the way. "I'm Lector, by the way!"

"I'm Y/n, and this is Luna. It's nice to meet you, Lector!"

"I'm glad that you guys ran into me, those bullies pick on me all the time!"

"And your friend doesn't do anything about it?" Luna asked him.

"He's never witnessed it, but he does get upset sometimes! But he usually just tells me to ignore them."

"You should ignore them." You agreed. "They don't know what they're talking about."

"That's what Sting says!"

You smiled a bit to yourself as you and the two exceeds kept walking further and further. Eventually, you all started to walk up a pretty steep hill, where you could see a huge willow tree and some old stone that looked like it used to be a building, but was now nothing more than ruins. Sitting under the tree looked to be a boy about your age, maybe a year older. It had just been you and Luna for so long, you were excited to meet someone new. Getting caught up in your excitement, you tripped and landed on your hands and knees.

"Oh no! Are you okay?" Luna asked you, stopping in her tracks. Lector, who was a little bit in front of you, turned his head around to see if you were okay. He rushed back down the hill to meet you, and so did someone else.

You saw a hand stick out in front of you. You looked up at who was offering you the hand, and saw the same boy who was sitting by the willow tree earlier. "Are you alright?" He asked you. You nodded as you took his hand, and he helped you up. "I'm Sting, what's your name?"
