"Which way did that guy say...? Left? Right?" You kept turning your head, looking for any sort of signs to point you in the right direction to the Mountain Village.

"He said right."

"I could've sworn he said left, though."

"Y/n, I'm telling you he said right."

"Mmm, okay." You agreed, but Luna started to get increasingly worried.

"I just want to make sure, Y/n. What creature are we looking for today?" Luna asked in a soft voice.

"A Vulcan, duh."

"No, Y/n." Luna sighed. "We're trying to find a Wyvern, remember?"

"Yeah, that's what I meant."

"But you didn't say that."

"What did I say?"

"You said a Vulcan."

"Oh, well, I meant Wyvern."

"Y/n, I'm worried about you. You've been extra forgetful recently."

"Pfft, it's fine." You waved it off. "You don't need to worry. Everything is fine."

Luna just hummed. There was no use in trying to argue. Even though she felt a pit in her stomach.

The both of you turned right, and after a while of walking, ended up in Mountain Village. They welcomed you with open arms, grateful that a wizard was now here to help them. Of course, you went under an alias. Ever since Fairy Tail had lost their most powerful members, everyone had a bad taste in their mouth towards the guild. So in order for you to make a living, Warrod came up with an idea; you would be known as a solitary wizard, and cover your guild mark so no one would suspect anything. And it worked, so you couldn't complain.

If you had been associated with Fairy Tail, the village's reaction would have been completely different.

"We're so glad you're here!" One of the villagers said. "This Wyvern has been terrorizing us!"

"Well, me and Luna are here to help." You smiled gently.

"It's better to rest for the day, I'm sure you've had a long journey." The mayor, an older man, but not as old as Warrod or Makarov, said.

"If you insist. But I don't want to stay for too long. I want to make sure that you all feel safer as soon as possible." You smiled.

"We feel a lot safer already with you here! Now please, rest for the night!"

You agreed, even though you wanted to get right to work. You wanted to finish as quickly as possible so you could watch the games, and even maybe participate!

The mayor escorted you to the hotel, and they let you stay there for no cost. You jumped right into the bed, unwinding from the day's travels.

"This feels nice..." you hummed into the pillow. Everything felt so soft.

"Okay Y/n, pop quiz time." Luna said, her voice sounding flat.

"Aw man, I hate pop quiz time!" You groaned, but then sat up in bed.

"Where are we?"

"Mountain Village."

"By which mountain range?"

"The phoenix mountains."

"Good, good... and why are we here?"

"To help the village."

"Right, but from what exactly?"

"A... uhm..."

"We just talked about it, Y/n... not too long ago."
