After seven years, the Tenrou Island mages finally returned home. You were eighteen now, and managed on your own. You were ecstatic to see your friends come home. But during those seven years, you had gotten stronger, both with your Dragon Slaying magic, and your God Slaying magic. And as for Luna, she managed to learn how to transform into a human. Everyone was impressed when they returned home.
And then there was the news of the Grand Magic games. Everyone knew who would be participating. Natsu, Gray, Erza, Lucy, and Wendy. The same mages who picked you up from Warrod's seven years ago. But Master Makarov pulled you to the side after he announced who would be participating.
"I plan on having another Fairy Tail team. No where in the rules does it mention not having another team."
"Are you asking me to be apart of the second team?" You asked with a small smile.
"Yes. And if you decline, I'd like your input on who to put on the team."
"I don't think I'd be able to participate, unfortunately." You sighed. "While you all were away and we weren't getting any job requests, Warrod would find me some good paying ones and I'd complete those. He found me one that's happening during the time of the games. I'd participate if I didn't have prior commitments."
"How long will your job take?"
"Most likely four days."
"Hmm. Well, I'd love to have you as an alternate if possible."
"I'll try my best. But I can't make any promises."
"I understand, I admire your loyalty. Who do you think should be on the other team?"
"The rest of the S-Class mages. MiraJane and Laxus. I would also say Gajeel and Juvia. And honestly... maybe Elfman."
"I had someone request to be on the other team for other reasons, but I will take your choices into consideration."
"I appreciate being an option for you, Master Makarov." You said, bowing your head to him. "I'd participate in a heartbeat if I didn't already have prior commitments."
"I know, my child." He said softly, and then he let some time pass. "I'm honestly quite worried."
"You shouldn't be worried. I know that everyone will do their best and take the Games seriously." You smiled. "I know Natsu will."
"Everyone will." Makarov said confidently. "They will show everyone what it means to be apart of Fairy Tail."
You smile and gave him a small nod before being dismissed from his office. Coming out of the office, you saw the guild in chaos, the kind of chaos you missed when everyone was gone on Tenrou Island. The guild finally felt like home again.
"What did you and Master talk about?" Luna asked you, joining you by your side in her human form, something she learned over the years.
"The Games." You said simply. "He wanted to know if I wanted to participate."
"You declined, right?" She looked at you with worry in her eyes.
"Yes. We have a job to go on, remember?"
"Oh, right. That request from Warrod." She let out a sigh of relief. "I need to speak with him as well."
"About what?"
"Memory magic, if possible. If he knows anything."
"Memory magic? Why would you want to know about that?" You let out a soft chuckle.
"I can learn more magic too, you know." Luna smiled. "You have Dragon and God slaying magic. I need something cool too!"
"You are very cool, Lunes. The coolest around!" You smiled happily. "Now, we should probably start packing for our job."
"Right... and can you tell me what our job is?"
"Of course I can... do you not remember?"
"No, I remember, I'm just checking to see if you do."
"Well, the job Warrod has for us is in the Phoenix Mountains. There is a Wyvern terrorizing Mountain Village. We have to help the village people from the Wyvern. They believe the Wyvern lives in the Phoenix Mountains."
"Yes, that's right." Luna smiled at you.
"You've been doing that a lot lately." You crossed your arms, looking at Luna suspiciously.
"Doing what?"
"Checking if I remember things."
"Y/n, your memory isn't all that great."
"My memory is perfect!"
"If you say so." Luna shrugged, not in the mood to argue. Anytime she tried to bring up your memories being lost, you would get angry, take time for yourself, and when when the topic was brought back up, you wouldn't remember having the conversation in the first place. Sometimes it was just better to agree with you than to try and argue.
"Now, we should get packing." You told her, walking through the guild to get to the doors. "I know that the teams will be leaving for the games soon."
"Tomorrow." Luna told you. "Crocus isn't that far from the Phoenix Mountains, we could probably ride with them and then head to Mountain Village from there."
"Sounds like a good idea!"
"You start packing, I'll head to Warrod's for some final information."
"And your questions about Memory Magic."
"Yes, that too." Luna chuckled a bit. "I'll be back later, I'm going to head to Warrod's."
"Sounds good." You nodded, waving to Luna as she left the guild, heading to Warrod's small cabin on the edge of Magnolia.

"I don't know much about memory magic, it's not my forte." Warrod sighed. "You're still trying to restore her memory?"
"There was someone important to her that I really want her to remember. But now it's getting worse."
"How so?"
"She gets angry if I try to bring it up. And now she's becoming more and more forgetful. I thought that maybe you would know something about memory magic."
"No, I personally don't know any memory magic. However..."
"What? What!"
"There's a mage in Sabertooth. He is participating in the Grand Magic Games. I believe his name is Rufus, and he has Memory Make Magic. I don't know exactly how it works, but perhaps he can help."
"Sabertooth, huh? They've won the past few years."
"And you'll be in the same area around the same time. If you truly want to help Y/n, it's worth a try."
"You said his name was Rufus?"
"Rufus Lore. He goes by 'The Minstrel who sings to the Red Moon,' whatever that means."
"Thank you, Warrod." Luna smiled at him. "I only want to help her."
"I know. And I know you'll find out the best way to do so."
