To the Moon and Back?{Sting x Reader}

"How is Lucy?" You asked everyone in the room.

"Shes still asleep." Erza answered you.

Tension was high. And there was nothing you could do. Everyone was so on edge because of Sabertooth.

You would hear the door creek open, revealing Master Makarov. "Oh good, everyone is here."

"What is it, Gramps?" Laxus asked, his arms crossed.

"As of right now, I have unfortunate news."

"What is it?" Erza crossed her arms, but Makarov looked around, and then looked at you cautiously.

"The administrators told me that Team A and Team B need to combine."

"What?!" Natsu's face scrunched up, his eyebrows furrowing together.

"Team A and B must unite?" Laxus asked, and Makarov nodded. "Why?"

"The disqualification of Raven Tail brings the total of teams down to seven. Having an odd number of teams doesn't work for the battle part of the competition." Makarov explained. "So, that means we have to pick five members again."

"And what about our points?" Carla, who was standing next to Wendy, asked with her voice laced with rage, her little paws rested on her hips.

"Apparently, the lower score will carry over. So, Team A's thirty-five points."

"How cruel!" Happy cried, and you looked around the room. Everyone seemed disappointed. You felt bad for them.

"If that's the administration's decision, there is nothing we can do about it." Erza sighed.

"Well, look on the bright side! We'd be able to put together a stronger team!" Cana smiled.

"I'm definitely getting revenge for Lucy." Natsu stated. "I ain't gonna let them get away with laughing at one of our own!"

"Who are you thinking on putting on the new team?" You asked Makarov.

"As it stands right now, Natsu, Gray, Erza, Laxus and Gajeel." He answered you. You were a bit disappointed that you weren't chosen.

"Sounds like the dream team to me!" Cana shouted, trying to make light of the unfortunate events.

"The administration is waiting for us before they start the battle portion. Are there any objections to this?" Makarov asked, but everyone remained silent. "Alright then. Team Fairy Tail is now Natsu, Gajeel, Gray, Erza, and Laxus."

"Sounds great to me! I get to avenge Lucy!" Natsu cheered loudly, still right beside Lucy.

"Juvia, Y/n. Depending on how today goes, I may use one of you as the alternate."

Both you and Juvia nodded, secretly hoping that Master Makarov would choose you if it came down to it. Luna on the other hand would fight for you not to.

"The new team, please make your way to the arena."

The new Fairy Tail team would leave the room to head to the arena. That left you, Luna, Cana, Juvia, Wendy, Carla, Elfman, Lucy and Makarov in the room. It was completely silent, until you heard the announcements from the arena.

"Now that Fairy Tail has reorganized, it is time to announce the battles for day four of the Grand Magic Games! Our first battle will be Quatro Puppy versus Blue Pegasus!" The second battle will be between Lamia Scale and Mermaid Heel! And our third battle is Sabertooth and Fairy Tail!"

You would hear the muffled screams and cheers of everyone in the stands. You assumed that Sabertooth had walked out, and they were once again the new fan favorite.
