"And now, here comes the new Fairy Tail team! Right here right now... Fairy Tail taking the field!"
You heard the crowd be louder than it had ever been before, screaming at the top of their lungs as the new Fairy Tail Team entered the field.
"I know everyone is waiting for Fairy Tail versus Sabertooth, who were nearly about to brawl earlier!" Chapati announced to the crowd. You heard the crowd get even crazier.
"I wasn't sure what was going to happen." You managed to hear Yajima say.
"Well, let's get started so we can see that last battle! The first tag team battle is Quatro Puppy and Blue Pegasus! From Blue Pegasus, Ichiya and Rabbit! From Quatro Puppy, Bacchus and Rocker!"
"I'm going to head up to the stands. I kinda want to see this battle." Cana said, waving to you all as she left.
"Do you want to go, Y/n?" Luna asked you, but you shook your head.
"No, not right now. I will when Fairy Tail gets out there."
"By that time there won't be any seats left." Elfman chuckled a bit. "I have a feeling that's the one everyone wants to see."
"I feel bad for Lucy. She didn't deserve that. The way that girl completely beat her..."
"I know, Y/n." Wendy came by your side, taking your hand in hers. "But I know Natsu will keep his promise. He always does."
"This isn't about avenging Lucy. Whoever that girl was, she just..."
"Just what?"
"Isn't what a good wizard should be. Sabertooth isn't what a guild should be."
"Unfortunately it's not our place to comment on it." Carla sighed. "All we can do is care for our own and hope that Sabertooth realizes their mistakes."
"Y/n..." Luna called out to you, and you had hummed out in response. "You remembered their guild name?"
"Sure I do. It's kinda hard to forget the guild that did this to Lucy." You sighed.
Maybe this would be an important memory to you. Or maybe there were things that you were picking and choosing to remember.
"The winner is Blue Pegasus! Next is Lyon and Yuka of Lamia Scale versus Kagura and Millianna of Mermaid Heel!"
"You can go, Y/n. I'll stay here with Lucy." Wendy offered you a smile.
"Are you sure, Wendy?"
"I'm sure."
"Alright." You smiled a bit. "Come on, Luna."
She smiled and followed you out the door. You would start to wander around, trying to find your way back to the stands. "Y/n, I'm going to get some snacks, do you want any?" Luna asked you.
"No, I'll be alright. I'll go find our seats."
"Do you remember the way back?"
"Sure I do!"
"Alright then! I'll meet you back at the stands!"
You waved to her as she walked away to get some snacks. Though you were pretty confident that during Natsu and Gajeel's battle, the only thing you would be chewing would be your finger nails. But once Luna was out of sight, a new thought rose in your mind. Or rather, maybe a bit of a panic.
You, in fact, did not remember how to get back to the stands. So as a result, you spent about fifteen minutes (which seemed like hours) wandering around the stadium's catacombs. Luckily, there was a map on the wall where you attempted to find your way out.
Little did you know, someone would be coming from around the corner. When they saw you, they stood there for a moment before speaking.
"Hello?"
You snapped your head towards them, only to be greeted by a man with red eyes and black hair, somewhat similar to Gajeel. He could have passed as his brother or something.
"Oh, hi." You said quickly, returning back to the map.
"Uhm... are you lost?" He asked.
"Sorta. I'm trying to find my way back to the stands, I just can't remember how to get back."
He stood there a moment, about to spit out instructions on how to get back, but remembered a conversation he had with a friend the night prior, where his friend described a girl with h/c hair. Of course, that could have been anyone.
"Your name... is it Y/n?" He asked, and you simply nodded.
"Yeah, that's my name... how do you know it? I don't think I've met you before."
"Oh uhm... just a lucky guess. I'm Rogue."
"Nice to meet you."
"I'm about to get ready for my fight, so I can't bring you to the stands, but..." Rogue took a step to the side, revealing a happy looking frog-cat standing behind him. "...Frosch would be happy to take you there."
"Mm?" Frosch looked up at you with a hum. "Oh, hello!"
"Hi there!" You smiled, kneeling down to Frosch's height. "Aren't you just an adorable little thing!"
"I think so too!"
Rogue smiled a bit to himself. If you truly were the girl Sting was always talking about, he definitely saw what Sting saw in you in just a matter of seconds. Rogue tried finding anything else that could have confirmed you as the Y/n, and remembered the small detail of the necklace. He looked straight at your neck, and saw the top of a yellowish crystal. Very similar to Sting's.
"Follow me!" Frosch said happily, leading you to the stands. You gave Rogue a quick wave before following Frosch. He brought you around the corner and up some stairs. When you were out of sight, Rogue let out a sigh.
"What's the matter? Anxious, are you?" Sting came from around the corner behind Rogue, chuckling a bit. "Who were you talking to? Could have sworn I heard a voice. It wasn't Yukino, was it?"
"No, it wasn't Yukino. It was just a lost girl."
"Ah, okay." Sting gave a small nod, but then stopped. As weird as it sounded, a certain smell got caught in his nose, one very similar to the one on the first day. He looked at Rogue weirdly, but before he could say anything, Rogue placed a hand on his shoulder and led him to the entrance of the arena.
