Chapter 48: Good Move

Miguel: "I mean it does look like that not gonna lie, but in all honesty I think as time goes on, more will happen."

At the second floor, Leonard and Lund were talking about the new tv series as they were sorting out files, not knowing that there were some typos in some of them.

Lund: "Can you imagine buying your husband a robot side chick so you don't have to be bothered?"

Leonard: "At that point, why even be married?"

Lund: "That's what I said."

Irma and Barry were also tasked on sorting out some of the papers too while swapping stories.

Barry: "And they all died of diabetes and hypercholesterolemia."

Irma: "Well, there's a lot of us could see that coming not gonna lie."

Just as the two were ready to leave, someone in a hooded jacket enters inside and places some papers into the ones Barry had sorted.

???: "No going back now. Aaron Peterson may be missing but there are others who can also play a role in this."

With Nicky, Delroy, and Ivan, they were prepping things up for their EMU club, though it was strange that Nicky was even showing more effort in the club than usual, however he was also doing the best he can investigating Aaron and Mya's disappearance.

Delroy: "What a couple of nasty jerks. Typical thugs."

Ivan: "Will those two ever grow up already?"

Nicky: "You know, Seth and Rueben always pull this type of nonsense."

Delroy: "Yeah, but enough chatting about those boneheads, right now we gotta get these supplies delivered so we can watch that new Master Deeds series. I wanna know what that husband's going to do with that robotic side chick that his spouse ordered for him."

Nicky: "She had to know how this idea would end especially if the robot is good at what she does...you know,

Ivan: "You know...I wouldn't mind getting myself one of them-er those robotic clones."

Nicky: "You do realize that a person of your stature is capable of developing such a creation."

Ivan: "I mean...yes I could, but a project like that would take a lot of work."

Delroy: "Well you could go to some kid's pizzeria find some unused animatronic, one that's not so creepy and put a couple of human touches."

Nicky: "From the way how you sound it's like you're encouraging him to build such a project."

Delroy: "Hey, I guy can dream can he?"

Ivan: "Kind of crazy how Enzo just left us earlier without any explanation."

Nicky: "Were we really expecting him to stay?"

Delroy: "Of course not."

Finch, Jodi, Macy, and Jeanette were hanging out with each other in the town square having some girl time.

Jeanette: "Thanks for inviting me over."

Macy: "Well we were just thinking to ourselves, Jeanette is still trying to adjust to this town and she deserves to have some people to share some hospitality with."

Finch: "With me, I needed a break from the boys and could use some girl talk. Of course I could always hang out with Maritza and Trinity but they've been doing their own thing recently."
