CHAPTER 16

Cause she was a gentlewoman.

"Can I?" With that, everyone started cheering except Jennie who didn't find this funny at all.

She didn't want her best friend to sit on her new friend's lap.

Why?

She doesn't know that.

So she shook every thought that came and she found the vase that was in the corner of the room very interesting.

Lisa was all red, and she saw Jennie not looking at her at all, so she lightly nodded, and Irene sat on her lap. If she said no Irene would be embarrassed.

Everyone was teasing them.

"I want my partner tall," Irene said playfully.

"Nice choice!" Nayeon thumbs up to Irene.

"You like flat chests?" Jeongyeon asked Irene holding her laugh.

"Yeah, I am not flat." Lisa defended.

"It's ok, bro, I'll help you," Chaeng said, patting Lisa's shoulder, Lisa nodded

"Says the one who doesn't wear a bra"
Rosé teased.

"That's not true." Chaeng was embarrassed because that was true.

"Is that so?" Jihyo asked Mina smirking.

Mina was all red, and so Chaeng was, and everyone was enjoying the teasing.

"I don't mind", Mina whispered to Chaeng, and Chaeng smiled like a fool.

"You guys are so cute" Sana stated.

"Alright, Tzuyu, truth or dare?" Jisoo asked.

"Dare." Tzuyu innocently.

"I dare you to... remove your t-shirt!"Jisoo with a mischievous grin.

"Jisoo unnie! No way!" Tzu Yu's eyes wide in shock.

"Come on, Tzuyu, it's just for fun," Rosé said laughing.

"You're all terrible... Fine." Tzuyu grumbling.

She reluctantly takes off her t-shirt, causing more laughter and some teasing.

Irene got off Lisa's lap and that's when Jennie felt relaxed.

"Okay, okay, enough teasing. Let me tell you all about some of Lisa's most embarrassing moments!"
Sana said grabbing attention.

"Sana unnie, nooo..." Lisa groaning.

Sana grinned mischievously. "There was the time Lisa tried to swing from the living room curtains like Spiderman and ended up crashing into the coffee table!"

The group erupted into laughter.

"That was one time, okay?" Lisa's face turned bright red.

"I can just imagine little Lisa shouting 'I'm Spiderman!' as she swung through the air!" Jihyo said laughing.

"Why did you have to bring that up?!" Lisa covered her face.

"Oh, Lisa..." Jennie laughed heartily.

"Classic Lisa! Always getting into something embarrassing." Jihyo said.

"And that's not even the best part! One time, she got stuck in the bathroom because she was too short to reach the latch!"Sana grinning.

Everyone laughs even harder, and Lisa shakes her head, still blushing.

The group continued to tease Lisa good-naturedly, and she laughed along with them, her embarrassment forgotten in the joy of the moment.

Jennie watched Lisa with a smile, feeling a pang of affection for her. But she quickly pushed the feeling aside, reminding herself that she only saw Lisa as a friend.

Little did Jennie know, Lisa's heart skipped a beat as their eyes met.
As the night goes on, the mood stays light and fun. After that, everyone went to sleep.

The house is quiet as everyone else has gone to sleep. Jennie, feeling a bit hungry, decides to find the kitchen. As she wanders through the mansion, she runs into Lisa, who is finishing up a phone call about her business.

Lisa saw Jennie walking so she asked.

"Hey Jennie you need something?"

"Lisa, I just wanted some water, Can you point me in the right direction?" Jennie asked.

"Come I'll show you the way." They start walking together down the hallway.

Lisa filled the water for Jennie and handed her.

"Thank you" Jennie drank the water.

The atmosphere went awkward, so Jennie struck up the conversation.

"So any plans for Christmas?"

"I don't celebrate Christmas Jennie" Lisa smiled softly.

Jennie wants to ask why, but she has a rough idea of why she doesn't celebrate Christmas.

"Why don't you join me and my family for Christmas? We'd love to have you." Jennie said, her voice soft and sincere

"Really? Are you sure? I don't want to impose." Lisa was surprised, blinking at Jennie.

"Of course! It wouldn't be an imposition at all. You should come. My family would be thrilled, and so would I." Jennie smiled warmly.

"That sounds... nice. Thanks, Jennie. I'd love to spend Christmas with you and your family." Lisa was touched, her voice softening.

"Great! It'll be fun. I promise you won't regret it." Jennie grinned.

"Goodnight Lisa" Jennie went to sleep.
